The Pulse LE gear from a few years ago was pretty good, this color anyways, I wasn't too interested in the other colors, I saw a ad with AP wearing the red, white and blue gear and ordered a set, but like you said the pants were sized weird, I had to return what I ordered and ordered new pants 2 sizes larger. But I was happy with them after that. I know I'm fat but not that fat. lol
I think there was a rumor that he was going to Fly for 2025, but then ended up staying with Thor. I know Webb was in talks with FXR so maybe Webb signing with Fly changed their plans up.
It seemed like AP wore that gear 2 years in row lol
I just wish there were more options where the gear companies didn't plaster their names everywhere.

Thor has some great stuff, not sure what some of you are hung up on. I love the way the prime gear fit me and love the sport mode now.
I have a set of that I bought on clearance hanging in my gear closet. Haven’t ever even tried it on, guess I need to before I put it in rotation.

Thor '08-'10ish were the best designs IMO.
Fly is pretty simplistic. Most of the lines only have 1 logo on the front and thats it.
Note to Thor guy: if you made a pair of DeCoster replica pants solid black with a red and yellow stripe down each leg, I’d buy a pair just because…😎
And on the shoulders, legs, boots, helmet, gloves, and the goggles. It's freaking ridiculous, I wear fly btw, but come on gear companies, less brand names/logos.

Dude I always wanted that handkerchief gear growing up and the Reed replica helmet. They had a giveaway for the Slim Jim custom Reed Helmet. I sent like 300 entries in and got a email saying “bro chill. We took one stop sending them in”. Never won….. man I was pissed lol.

😂 I had to look up whether they still make helmets. I remember a couple of guys I rode with when we were kids that had Bieffe helmets. They were twin brothers. We pronounced it Beefy. The coolest helmet in '92 was the original Shoei VFX. We would bust their chops, you got a Beefy helmet! 😂
That gear was sick af, and those helmets looked really really good too.

I was never a big fan of Thor, but this is my favorite look.
I ended up going two sizes up in the Pulse too, I ended up blowing them out at a seam because they just didn’t fit my body type. Swapped it out for two sets of Prime and they’re the most comfortable pants I’ve ever owned. I imagine the Sportmode is similar. Looking forward to trying the Launchmode to see the updates from the Pulse, it will be my next kit.
That era was definitely the peak for Thor.
I'll go on record to say I think the '26 Thor stuff is pretty nice. I have not enjoyed the designs of the last few years, but this is killer:
There is obvious exceptions but I like the looks of most modern gear. Fly, FXR, Thor. I'm digging Alpinestars right now. Maybe its because of the subliminal advertising of the best AMA riders wearing it. The Lawrence's, Eli, Chase. Never been much of an Oneal guy but I liked a lot of JCoop's kits. Really I care the most about how it fits. I was a Fox guy most of my life but it fits me so poorly. All their pants are so baggy in the ass for me it looks like I'm wearing a diaper. If it fits good, I'll wear it. Oh and it can't have cats on any of the jerseys. Thats also a deal breaker
