His style and patience has a lot of upside on that fofitty. He Smoove widit. It's unfortunate he is taking extra time to mature compared to them brothers. But soon enough he will rejoin them in the top of the 450 class. Hope he doesn't end up on a Kawi though.
He'll stay at HRC.
Jo looked excellent on the 450. Good things to come over the next few years.
I believe that after this weekend, no team has any doubts about how good Jo will be on a 450

Kawi should have pushed hard to sign him a couple months. Probably too late to get him away from HRC now
Agree. There is no way they will ever let him go willingly.
If Jo did that well, it should translate to give us an idea of how well Deegan will do on the 450.
He had his fans there!
It's worth remembering that he wasn't using the Lawrence chassis or the shock
It won’t translate because Jo can’t speak English
Deegan has spanked Shimoda multiple times, with Jo getting him back on occasion. If that translates to their 450 rides, Deegan should be right up front with Chase and Eli, but not sure if it will be enough to hang with the Hunter brothers.
According to Lars on the broadcast they literally just put a 450 engine in Jo's 250.
Just the smoothest rider we've seen out there in recent times aside from Jett.
No surprise at all that the dude can ride a four fifty.
Far East Coast, is the real deal on a 450...Color me ultra impressed, his line choice and momentum on a 450 is so damn impressive.
Pretty sure I heard he only had 4 days on the 450, too. Which makes it all the more impressive. Talk about a guy driving up the price of his stock right when his contract is up.
They claimed on the broadcast that Jo was using Jets spare bike. Saying if Jet needed one, Hunters was similar and could be swapped to Jets spec easily.
Pit Row
Yeah that's what I heard. Weird thing is in Australia you can't just switch any bike. You have your bike and a registered secondary bike.
So if Jetts got smoked I don't think he could just switch to one or the other. So I was a little confused when the broadcast was discussing this.
The assumption that X rider did well, so that means Y rider will do even better when moving up is a straight up ridiculous take.
I heard both theories. Very interesting.
Joe did awesome this weekend. Im super pumped for him.
Jo looked super impressive for it being his fifth day on the bike. He definitely exceeded my expectations.
Jo is doing great, his riding is fantastic and getting better. His PR and personality is leaving his main competition in the dark ages.
Go Jo!
two totally different riding styles too
its doesn't translate. so you can move on from that thought process
At this point HRC could have the 3 fastest guys on a 450 in 2 years.
Any of you know it alls want to put some money on it then? That Deegan will beat Shimoda on the 450? Seems like a lot of you will take big bets on this one, claiming it won't carry over. Who wants to bet?
Typical Deegan fan inferiority complex ^
Want to bet some money then? I'm confident Deegan will beat Shimoda consistently on the 450 just like he does on the 250.
