Nope. Prado lucked into 6th place even though he was getting beat by privateers and quiting on the team. Webb rides hard.
Apples and ornages.
Not a huge Deegan fan, but I have to admit that's pretty funny!
Hahha that was funny! Dr.Dre and Prado
Is Deegan38 managed by some social media manager or is it actually the Deegans behind the keyboard?
Anyway, love it!
By your reasoning Reed would have no titles and neither would Sexton and Webb shouldn’t have won the SX championship this year, Very Flawed reasoning there fella.💯😂

Yes, KHI international has money to burn if you look at their relatively tiny investment in moto compared to corporate. That is not the point. Divisions have their budget, goals and objectives. They also have this divisional "black eye" - Prado - to explain to their mgmt chain. IMO I think the shock to corporate is over and they want to move on, just not at any cost. Disclose the problem to corporate, financially reserve the budget, and execute a new plan: Prado on the bench at Kawasaki - kept from racing any other brand because of his contract. No longer embarrassing the brand on the track, no longer aggravating the team. They set terms for Prado's settlement to leave and hold until he meets it. The worse has already happened to Kawasaki, no more urgency to move on. It's contained now.
The worth to Prado's career to move on is more important to him than Kawasaki's desire to move on. Kawasaki already has Chase and adding a "b" rider after that can take place any time with a move up from PC. Kawasaki has endured the worst of the Prado situation, but Prado's career is going by and he should be really motivated to settle and move on.
Big difference, the riders you mentioned rode hard and gave max effort. Prado did the opposite. He quit, plain and simple.
Again, apples and oranges "fella".
Did Sexton luck into the title when both Tomac and Webb were suddenly injured?
really funny coming from a two time SMX "WORLD CHAMPION"... LMAOOOOOO..... the deegs are a chit show that keep on giving!!
I disagree. At least you calmed down 💯👍🏻😂
Yes! Deegan The world champ of the world of América.
Why Yes, Yes he did !
Good points, you may very well be correct. We’re making stabs at the specifics that might be in his contract.obviously when Kawi brought him on board, they were thinking that Prado would be in at very least, contention for a title. But as far as specifics from a legal standpoint, did he actually fulfill his obligations of the contract that he signed. I have zero idea. Does anyone at this point.
Afraid to admit I lol’d reading this
It's truly extraordinary to think that upon seeing a post by Deegan taking a shot at a multi time world champion my first thought is "Deegan is really punching down here".
if Jorge was contracted for 3 mil a year I wonder what Jett is at ...
I think I heard 5 mil on a podcast but I'd have to imagine it would be at least double Jorge's
Jett's new deal is supposedly $22.5 million across 5 years. $4.5 mil/year.
I read in the Kawasaki 2 stroke thread that it's not happening now because of the Prado situation.

Pit Row
10th?! He was 10th when he left the US after just testing SX with his Gasgas before the MXGP season, and "Euros can`t ride SX"...
Kawi will ruin him in the legal system before it even hits trial if Jorge decides to fight
He definitely quit trying....
Exactly, they can afford a long, expensive legal fight if they decide to go that route. Hopefully it doesn't get to that point and they can find a fair settlement so everyone can move on.
The gift that keeps giving
I mean they would have in house lawyers that they are paying anyway so what's it to them to fight one athlete?
If they are smart they use in house atty's... but often sub lament them with outside specialists.
It’s kinda crazy how a multi millionaire doesn’t want to pay money to get out of his contract. Just pay the fees and get out of it. If he’s that confident in himself then he’ll make up the money in the long run and be fine. Kawi should just keep him for next year and if he wants to ride fine and if not then fine, but he better go to every dealer signing and every race to sign posters and watch Chase win and get podiums 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 a multi millionaire, hates the team, but wants other people to pay his way out lol
Mirts is definitely trying to figure out how he still get a cut of that 😂😂😂
I wonder if he gets all normal bonuses aswell or if it's like with RC and Suzuki back then (I think it was championship bonuses only, no race bonuses though?). Either way he definitely earned it!
All I know is Prada is a quitter and I’ll never be a fan (fyi for future sponsors). A lot more riders than just Prado couldn’t win on the Kawasaki and have moved on or retired and if they can’t win on the Kawi then I’m not spending my money on one. Monster spends a lot on the sport and I appreciate it but that stuff is nasty especially compared to an ice cold Red Bull.
Besides after mxon today I won’t give a shit until January.
After SX he will want to go back to the GPs.
