Assume they're going for the redemption storyline... but will be interesting.

If he pulls out, he'll get cooked.

If he doesn't perform well, it would likely be the same.

If he pulls it off and does well, people will love it.

I'm guessing the jcoop votes have nothing to do with winning mxon and putting our best foot forward and everything to do with the menstrual cramps the name deegan seems to induce in a lot of vital posters😂

Can you support the guy without misogyny?

Just line them up for a couple 30+2 motos at the farm a couple days before MXoN.
Whoever dominates the other star will send.

I think that people need to remember that in 250’s you need one good moto to have any chance of winning.

What will happen if Deegan does not get a good 1st result and then has to go all out in 2nd with his not perfect left (?) shoulder and has a bit of a bump???

To me just man up and say ‘tried riding and shoulder is just not good enough’

Did the same go for Schock when he raced 5 days after surgery on his collarbone.  A 90% Deegan is still the probably the fastest 250 rider.

If I'm Jcoop, I am hoping deegs is able to ride so I can relax and don't have to ride a 250.

Tomac raced the same day with a broken leg…. Neither were 100%.

There's no misogyny going on here.  Just men razzing each other.

He did and wasn’t on the pace he was before the injury

I believe he finished 5th and with the exception of the Arlington Triple Crown matched his Career Best finish.

If Deegan is healthy enough to ride and you picked J Coop you don't care about winning. Like him or hate him Deegs has a chance to be top 250 while J Coop has been out long enough that it's doubtful he could podium in 250.

The team lives and dies with the 250. If the results follow recent finishes Eli gets beat by Jett and RJ gets beat by Hunter. The only chance of a win is if Deegan pulls an RV.

Deegs rode like a turd and doesn't deserve the reward of racing MXdN but if they want to win they have to ignore it.

He’s on a mission to get good pr.

Isn't branding the ultimate mission for a Deegan?
Should be a huge motivation

Are you guys really serious? Degan with a broken arm could beat jcoop. Get over your but hurt feelings from last weekend and move on. It hurts me too. But if we have a chance in hell we need him tomac and a hole crap load of luck.

If Deegan is ready, regardless of the crap he pulled in Vegas, we need to send him.

Regarding the unprofessional and crappy stuff he pulled in Vegas; Comparing what he did to what Tomac did with Dungey is ridiculous. Tomac did not take out Dungey even though he could have. He was much faster than Dungey all season. Was it dirty riding, I don't know. What I do know is that Zach Osborns takeout of Savatski was down right dirty but, he gets a pass because it was the second to last turn of the race. If we are being honest, what if Tomac had stayed behind Dungey the whole race and took him out the same way that Osborn took out Savatski, would that have been OK? It was after all for the championship and a lot of people on this forum state they would take their own mother out for that title.

This kind of riding has been going on for a long time. Hannah and Howerton, Bradshaw and Matiasevich, Reed and Stewart, etc. etc.

I'm not excusing Deegan, that was dirty but, it's nothing new. Deegan is such a polarizing person that he will not get cut any slack like Osborne did. Kid's got a mouth on him, that's for sure. like Hannah did but with less class.

If we want a chance to win the Motocros des Nations it has to be Deegan if healthy.

One other thing. J Coop's response to all of this is about as classy as it gets. He was considered the weak link last time he was on the team, he certainly proved his detractors wrong. If he does end up on the team, I'm fine with that.

My mistake…. Do you practice this in real life or just the internet?

If he pulls out, he'll get cooked.

If he doesn't perform well, it would likely be the same.

If he pulls it off and does well, people will love it.

Are we talking about MXON or a blind date?

If he goes and doesn’t perform well, his crew will say he did what he could for his country. They will gaslight anyone that is critical of his performance.

At this point I wouldn't let gutter trash deegan do anything other than clean my toilets. . I have zero interest in having someone like him represent our country, because he in no way represents our countrys values.

misogyny definition: dislike of, contempt for, or ingrained prejudice against women......my contempt, dislike, and prejudice is against idiots who want the country to do worse because they dont like the best riders personality...nothing to do with woman... go white knight somewhere else.

I think taking a spot at the MXON is not only a privilege but a patriotic/respect pick. What if Deegan did what he did last Sat at the MXON?

I think Deegan has earned it on the riding part. The respect part not so much.
