Id hate to know what kind of advice and guidance Brian must give Haiden behind closed doors. Brian just sees his children as marketable products. There's a reason why Haiden never does a long form interview or podcast by himself. If he ever does Brian is there aswell. He is the mastermind controlling the narrative.

I’m a deegs follower, as probably everyone knows, i even met him, brian and hudson. I don’t ride a dirt bike and have never owned one. I have ridden a friends quad at a slow speed in the desert though.

Nope I didn’t miss the Adelaide Grand Prix, in fact I watched it live. Hence why (and I had exactly that event in mind) I said “most years”. It was also an event that changed the sport. The FIA became stricter on just that cheating didn’t they. They disqualified Schumacher from the 1997 championship you’ll recall for crashing into villeneuve at Jerez. Why are people so quick to be rude to people? Calling them ignorant.

We often talk about bringing new fans into the sport. It’s a very niche sport as is. Die-hard Deegan fans always claim that he’s growing the sport. Is he bringing in views? Absolutely. Is he growing the sport? In my personal opinion, no.
When I think of bringing fans into the sport I think of introducing someone to it, they love it and might even introduce their family to it, buy them dirt bikes and spend weekends together riding.
When it comes to Deegan I feel it’s a more cult of personality type thing. Fans he is supposedly bringing in like him more than the sport as a whole, and when he retires one day I feel like a lot of them won’t continue to watch moto every weekend like real fans of the sport do.

Not a SINGLE person I have on social media that ACTUALLY RIDES is a fan of Deegan. The ONLY people I follow that like his shit consistentlyy are people who have never raced in their lives or rode dirtbikes when they were like 14 for a year and haven't in 15 years.
Its the lifted truck crew combined with the younger generation of online kids who play mx bikes and watch youtube that make up his fan base. Hes also got the political kooks wrapped around his finger by using the american flag to his benefit as well.

Ask anyone in the paddock off camera about the Deegan camp and you’ll get the same response from everyone. If they don’t straight up say they don’t like them, they’ll just laugh and shake their head.

To quote Team403 and another reply about his followers. I do know a pretty decent amount of people that follow him that were never into racing or owned a bike. I don't think the ones I'm talking about here are online defending him. They simply aren't into it and don't care.
Out of 200+ people i follow that I know from riding. I would say 50% follow him. Now out of that 50% roughly 60% don't seriously ride or follow racing. The other 40% that I know well that ride and race very into the sport 3 people like him. Might be down to 2 after the past weekend.
I was a follower back in his early days but had to hit the unfollow years ago.

But everyone is talking about Haiden Deegan. Once again, Deegan is the story, so it seems he doesn’t need a long form podcast to generate interest. Everyone has something to say about him whether it’s good or whether it’s bad.
1st of May 1994 was the day Senna died. I don't remember anything about Schumaker and Hill but I'll never forget Senna's crash.
