I’ve heard enough about how Jett is emotional because hunter is first looser. How is Chase?!? At least an acknowledgment?

My thoughts exactly, hunter has let jett by a lot, if he didn’t, jett would still probably get by, but i just want a battle between them with hunter coming out on top.

Jett is the most bummed championship I've ever seen. Taking it from his brother like last year and most every head to head race has got to take a toll. Good thing they have a strong family.

Maybe Hunter needs to go race go karts if he wants to be first.

Yaa I know what you’re saying, I noticed he was hauling ass down that straight too, I just don’t see how they can control their speed down a straight like that. In a SX rhythm, it’s easier to enforce wheels on the ground imo.

Id also point out, that section didn't really have actual jumps, just bumps formed during the race.

I think deep down Jett was wanting that red flag to come out and when it never did he had to do what needed to be done, like putting down a family pet

RC over MC was so much worse. At least to me.

Bit of a side point, but this is why Will Christien handles the main broadcasts. Yes her voice is less pleasant, but she's clearly sharper and more analytical then Katie Osborne's waffling and "saying words to just say words". This is evidenced by the nuanced nature of her questions, especially during interviews in tense moments (e.g. Davies in Denver, Jett in Vegas).

Hope Chase is good. Regardless of history, he’s always bounced right up from his crashes. That’s a scary one.

AC: So what are you going to do with that $500,000?

Jo: Going straight to the casino to double or nothing.

Crazy night of racing.

I wasn't a Deegan fan, but I've really grown to love the fight and send it mentality.  Maybe he went too far tonight, but it's easy to judge from my armchair.  Congrats to Jo.  He's the rightful champion.  I didn't think it was smart to race Deegan the way he did, but I loved it.

As a Tomac fan it's difficult to see him get beat straight up.  The Lawrence boys are good.  Jett is something extra special.  Not to take anything away from them, but all season their bikes just track the ground and lay the power down so well while Tomac's really seems to be set up much stiffer and bouncing around.  I hope the KTM works for Tomac and he's competitive with the Lawrence's next year.

I hope and pray Chase is ok.  Forget MXDN, just be ok. I hate this part of sports.

Yea I dont like that part. At least say something. They didnt use to try to pretend everything was fine and theres nothing to see here.

Look on the brightside, the KTM has come a long way since the MC days, so hopefully it won't go as bad for Eli.

Jo and Jett rightfully clapping Deegan hard in the press conference. Bad night to be a Deegan gooner. Really embarrassing.

At what point do you realize someone is so afraid to race the European guys that they subconsciously sabotage themselves, 3 years in a row he’s wiggling out🤦‍♂️🇺🇸

that was good question, great answer. don't know why but ACs previous question about being the first rider from Japan to...struck me as softly racist. IHMO Joe is loved for what he does/how he acts- regardless of nationality. also is too humble and respectful to give a d-bag reply. something like "we build the bikes and I came here to show 38 how to ride them...bitch"

Yeah, RC pretty much steamrolled past MC beginning at A3 2001. MC was barely a shadow until Vegas where he was extra motivated to stop the streak... Almost pulled it off too.

An interesting aspect of this comparison though is the change in styles. MC was so smooth and fluid and RC brought that super aggro on the edge style. Now it's like watching it go back the other way with ET vs Jett (obviously in a simplified way as a lot of things have changed with riding techniques over 24 years).

That was the weirdest podium/celebrations ever. I feel so bad for Jett man (I’m sure he’ll be fine…I know). Hunter is probably one of the most level headed dudes out there, but wtf man. Did he even congratulate Jett? Literally out there pouting making Jett feel bad to the point that he wishes he would have done worse lmao. Damn man I like hunter a lot, but I lost a little respect there.

722 asked Jo what Deegan said to him on the gate.  Jo said that Deegan told him "you have no idea what's about to come" and Jo replied "I don't speak english".  Jo just doesn't give a shit.  Ha.

It’s weird to say this as Jett sits there and talks against you. It’s an awkward issue that they need to deal with themselves and we literally saw them work through it on the spot.

Just got done watching. What a crazy night of racing. I really enjoy watching Deegs ride but man... what a clown show. You could tell he was frantic to make literally anything happen. Good for Jo though, goddamn. I really like that dude. Just a class act, and only says what he needs to, nothing more less.

450's were interesting. I hope Chase is okay and can bounce back. Sucked to see Hunter get SO close but not get it, but there's no beating Jett consistently these days. That said, I really appreciate the earnest and classy tone that Jett has taken on with podium interviews as time has gone one. Really wanted a Tomac W since he's been a longtime fav of mine but I knew that was a tall order. He kind of reminds me of Stanton during the early part of MC's career. Still up there, still a monster, but not quite able to use his old bag of tricks to defeat the new era. Still thankful we have him back after the achilles.

Joe is immune to deegs cringe faux Americana, dated mulisha, fake try hard, bully shit. Brian was actually the biggest fraud in the MulIsHa. Love seeing this play out with deegs crashing out for some money over representing USA. Such a cash lolcow fraud in the end.

What do you mean talks against me? Jett shouldn’t have to go up for his podium celebration feeling bad about anything. Literally crying feeling bad… Did you not see him walk up to hunter pouting on his chair right after the race? No congrats, nothing. I’m sure he dealt with it last title too and that’s why he was contemplating giving up a title to his brother. I totally get both sides but hunter shouldn’t show his emotions like that to his little brother imo. Be happy for him, move on, get better.

Call me a disbeliever but Deegs could have been a sore loser faking an injury and now he doesn’t have to risk losing at the des nations either.  He got some tv exposure with his metal mulisha skull gear.  Claimed broken bones means he doesn’t have to finish the race and lose that way.  He had a guilty look on his face.

Going back and looking at the 450 moto2 laptimes for the top three is interesting. They were all close running 1:31-1:32 with all of them trading tenths with each other. Lap 12, Jett dropped a 1:30, Tomac went to opposite way then Hunter countered Jett and bested him on lap 13.

It was hard to see on the broadcast but Eli just went backwards towards Jett when he started falling off the pace from lap 12 onward. Jett may have not actually tried to catch Eli, he just held the pace and rolled with it.

I'd like to know if its a straight up fitness issue for Eli or is the bike still not right for him. I'd guess if the bike is not where a rider wants it, no amount of conditioning is going to allow you to push the whole race against 2 dudes that are fit and flow with the bike on a high speed track.

I haven’t seen any footage oddly enough.  They say just a concussion and shoulder.  I don’t know how RyderD came out ok, at least put a neck collar on him after getting landed on.  I was going to protest and tell Vital to stop watching but I didn’t think it would help the medical crew make any changes.

There’s a post from WhiskeyThrottle (I think that’s who I saw it through) of Ryder walking around in the pits virtually unscathed later that night if you can believe it. Said he was lights out for a moment but otherwise seemed ok and in good spirits.

Another vid of Chase’s slam is on X. That one was pretty brutal, but he’s made posts on his own accounts now about the injuries you mentioned.

Wild night of racing and injuries across the board for sure.
