Posted the full sequence in one of the other threads, but the last takeout attempt in the bowl turn before they went down should have prompted the black flag. He tried some sketchy shit two or three times before that, but that one was egregious. No intention of making the corner, he knifed into Jo so hard that he ended up going backwards.

You guys are dorks. I for one am tired of the AMA getting involved for every fucking block pass that happens. Im glad the AMA doesnt rule over MXGP. De Wolf would have been docked 85 points and banned from racing had they seen what he did in moto 2.

There’s no other motorsport where a racer could deliberately try to make an opponent crash without getting a ban. It’s one thing to be aggressive in the heat of the moment, but putting another rider down multiple times as your only goal in the race is uncalled for. This shit ain’t demolition derby.

I love rough racing and have no problem with some big block passes, but that was a joke. One or two times, sure, go for it.. but that swerving all over the track was not racing, that’s trying to wreck (and possibly) injure someone.

I don’t like the idea of black flags at all, but this deserved one, any time you are swerving across a track to endanger someone multiple times, you are putting others at risk.

I love watching Deegs race (usually) but karma is a bitch..

If AMA were concerned about riders saftey they should implement the same points system on the riders license as F1 uses.

When you get enough of them you have to sit one race out.

Things that should get ju a point on your license is things like riding dirty, jumping on Red Cross flag etc. I think you can get up to 3 points at one race during F1 and when you get 12 points you have to sit the next race out.

Those points will be there one year from when you get them so if you choose to do some shit in the last race it could still punish you when the next season starts.

A system like that should be keeping some of the hot headed racers in check.

Yeah........that penalty is fucking embarrassing and of no consequence whatsoever. Total goon riding. Could have easily injured Joe, and some people think that is okay? I mean, fuck me. Deegan doing what he did belongs on a Jackass video, not as part of a professional sport.  A PROFESSIONAL SPORT.

A 5 point penalty would indicate they had no intention of black flagging him.  I just don’t get what they were thinking. That was some of the bitchiest riding I have ever seen.

Deegan should be suspended for a certain period from those actions, minimum 1 month. If someone pulled this crap ten years ago, they would never race again.

Does anyone have a good example of a black flag being thrown at a National race?  I’ve never seen it happen in the pros. I have seen MANY people disqualified from NFL, NBA, Baseball games.
