Weege has been a little much this year ngl.

I’m not a big Weege fan, being honest. 

But stating that is perfectly good IMO. 
Tell me the outcome if they stay as they are, I’ll calculate who I want to move up/down.

I don’t have a problem with it at all, it tells you immediately who’s got the lead to lose and who’s feeling the pressure to get to the front. 

The overhype of every single event is so annoying. 

Us fans are inbred peasant dummies. The broadcast is great. Ask anyone in the industry. They’ll tell you.

If RC has a sense of humour he should tell Weege 'there is a lot of racing left'.

Weege is a God damn beauty, leave him alone he can do no wrong. 

Weege spoke out about the MAVTV debacle a few years ago. He must have gotten a nice ass chewing. He has been the biggest shill in the sport since.

I think it's fine, because then you fully understand the consequences and stakes of every pass to come. He's commentating on the race, and that's the current situation in the race. I don't get being mad over every si gle little thing 🤷

What do you want someone to be saying during a dirtbike race in the first place. Get off the dudes case. I’m sure plenty of the keyboard warriors on here with the iq of a 14 year old boy couldn’t do any better 

I might be one of the few, but I’m getting burnt out on Weege. Great guy and all that. But I could use a break lol. Late in one of the races Weege is literally screaming and RC and Stew were just engaged in a conversation talking normal. It was just weird 

Paul malan is the best in the business!! Actually calls the race and zero filler!!

I’m a huge fan of this version of weege. It went from a roundtable of podcast bros barely focussing on the action on the track — last years SX commentary was a snooze fest — to bringing actual excitement to the race.  

I don’t care if the excitement is a performance, it’s what he is paid to do. It’s a performance that will actually bring new fans into the not, as I experienced last year when watching the races with new fans — wondering what is going on? Why they are talking about hypothetical's or whatever? Who are these people?… 

Why not hype up the race and make the passes have meaning? Sure you could wilt a lap… but why?

Weege is now for the fans and for bringing in new fans and that’s who he should be for.

Idk, the points and that are confusing as fuck, especially when it’s the top 3 at or near the front. My wife hasn’t watched all year and she told me to shut up because they were explaining and updating the points as they run from the get go, so it was easy to understand. 

Exactly. Explaining the stakes makes the races more engaging for everyone. Especially in a the strange Olympic scoring situation.  


semi unrelated — I actually didn’t realise this is the only race where a 2,2 beats a 1,3 but a 3,1 beats them both. 

2024 supercross commentary team was like a  podcast roundtable bro down and my god it just dragged the races down.

IMO Weeges role is Clarity, excitement, stakes and sponsor reads. And he does great!
