“The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead,” Mr. Trump posted on Truth Social, adding, “He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us.”

EDIT: This sucks. I was not a huge fan of his, but I felt like his arguments were on point. If there was one thing I could have said to him it would literally have been, "Dude, tone it down. You get more flies with honey, and the way you're going, someone's going to try and assassinate you."

I'm seeing reports the shot came from a building 200 yards away. If that true whoever did it knew what they were doing.
I pray that God shines his grace on his wife and children, they will never experience what the love of a father can bring. Charlie will go down as a Martyr, sitting in an open square in a hostile environment willing to engage in dialogue with anyone and everyone to hopefully bring self reliance and critical thinking back to the forefront of the youth of America’s mind. And they shot him down in cold blood to silence him. What a shame, I pray his legacy lives on and that his death awakens people on both sides to reconcile and come together.
I'm the first to admit I am naive when it comes to politics. So who's the winner in this situation ? Is there an easy answer ? Who gains ? Can it be explained in layman's terms ? Because I truly don't understand how this country became so hateful. You don't to respond I'm just thinking out loud, I know there's no simple answer. OK so we all start blasting each other, then what ? Who's the winner ?
Any country that hates the USA wants to see us implode. Making your enemy eats itself would be the most satisfying. Not to imply that stuff like this is orchestrated by our enemies/opponents, but they are the ones that "win" from our internal demise.
This country became hateful when people became selfish, lovers of themselves and only caring about themselves. When they decided they wanted their way and only their way and didn't care what it took to get what they wanted. That's why we are where we are. Maybe it isn't the majority of people, but the loudest ones that seem like they are the majority sure look to be that way.

Wouldn't want to throw that kind of stuff in a dead person's face, but he is right about that. If you want booze, people are going to drink themselves to death. If you want cars, or motorcycles, people are going to crash and die. We've even had presidents shot and shot to death, so we're committed to the gun rights and that's just not going to change no matter how tragedies are weaponized. Maybe what needs to change, is the idea that it needs to change.
A lot of people seem more interested in assigning blame than finding out who committed the act, and why.
