Gotta say, JS and RC I would have ranked the same but JS really stepped up lately. If I was Monster you'd have to drop RC. He adds nothing of value. What he should bring is deep insights into riding. JS does, Ricky rarely does.

Rc butchers every sentence he speaks... and makes up these fooked up sayings... and even worse, half of what he says is a fookn commercial... he knows he sucks at it, yet keeps doing it... this just one long humiliation ritual or what??? Either way... rc will go down as the worst announcer ever, in any sport.... we look like fools for having him as an announcer... this is beyond fooked... 

I went on mute within five minutes of the start of the broadcast.  Didn't do that on the outdoors.  I don't want to be frustrated, pissed off, or embarrassed for him, or whatever it is.

THIS. Love ya Ricky but you're just trying way too hard. JS/Weege had a cool "banter" through the summer that made it feel casual and natural...but RC just makes it so stiff and annoying.

Jesus, you guys are ruthless. Ricky ain't that bad in the booth c'mon now. He's a fucking legend, who gives a shit if he messes up words and sentences. He was wide open while all of us were writing essays over and over. 

His only job to be measured on right now is his ability to not mess up words. He messes up every single word lol.

It doesn't matter how great he was on a bike, and he was of course.  The accomplishments on the track is what got him the job, but he should have to do the job well to keep it....and he is terrible.

I've got over the annoyed stage. I'm now at the funny stage. I just laugh at how bad he is. Just another part of the clown show that is SMX. RC being in the booth is just another reason why MX/SX will never go mainstream.

James has his own version of the English language but he is fluid, cool and smooth with whatever he says even if it doesn't make sense. Listening to Ricky is like listening to someone learning to drive a stick shift car and he never stops missing shifts and grinding gears.

RC will do down in history with some great lines. I personally like when he broadcasts just to hear some of the small missteps. Is he the best, probably not. But when Tickle was riding for him at RCH and Tickle was struggling at Daytona, RC said..."if he goes any slower, he's gonna tip over." Friggin great stuff. I still love than remark he made and it was about his own rider. Priceless.  

      Ricky’s lack of education comes through loud and clear.  However, during the time all of us were writing reports on the book 1984, he was practicing his chops on track. Nobody is wrong here, his speaking skills are definitely below par, even for a Florida resident. The redeeming factor is his experience at winning hundreds of motto’s in his life, a record no one is likely to surpass any time soon. Will he ever be a smooth talker like Mr. Michelle Obama, doubtful, but his insight is what they pay him for. He cannot be a complete idiot, as he did have a great career, and managed to earn much more money , in a much shorter time than most Americans will ever see. Not bad for a poorly educated redneck, ‘eh ?
