53 Graphix $338 Custom Helmet J Law Deal

Wow, that’s jacked up. I’d blow up Jason’s inbox and Shame him into taking care of it. 

7 months holy shit you have patience. And hate to say it but think you already got your answer and he has a new helmet. Maybe see if j law can help you set up a go fund me. 

How did you pay? May be a way to dispute a charge if it’s through an actual business and on a card. 

Sounds about right for most helmet painters.  Local guy told me 3 weeks and actually took 4 months.  Tagger had my buddy’s helmet almost a yr and constantly had excuses plus charged him $500 more than he was originally quoted.  

Bumping this as I am in the same boat. Helmet sent early December, No pictures, No updates just excuses.

Y’all wanted the J Law service….

I sent a helmet to a very well known painter who does work for an energy drink company and he straight up lost my helmet.  I was buddies with the guy and he offered to paint it for me for free, but in the end, I was out a helmet and never got anything back.

This is what happens with anything associated with JLaw. What a pile. 

I bought some graphics and preprints from J Law’s buddy a few years ago. Never received them lol. 

I did. He’s terrible to deal with. Excuse after excuse and excuse. I also sent him my helmet in December. However, I finally got my helmet 2 weeks ago. It looked nothing like I asked for, honestly it looks like shit. But I got it back. Like I said, excuse after excuse. He sucks 

Who you talkin about homie? Can we get pics of said helmet.

This is a really long time. there should be zero excuses for it. He chose to offer the discount. That is not your fault. you have every right to be upset over it. I go through CK Designz out of Wisconsin. Colten does a killer job and its only ever taken 3ish weeks, except for one helmet that was a few months because we were waiting on the rubber piece that lines the helmet as they were on back order.

Right. Deals where you "lose" money are generally intended to gain money later. You eat the cost but show great service so they get their friends to go to you.

I’d avoid j law and anything associated with him, or anyone trying to use him name like the plague. 

Something tells me this is not going to pay off for him lol. Guy sounds like an entitled douche canoe.

Had the same thing with Tagger. Told me 2 months. Took 5. Had to threaten to get my money back. Also they have chipped quite a bit after a year of use. No other helmet I've had has done that. Lesson learned. 

Anyone know if this deal is still going on? Need a helmet done asap.

      My experience with painters, whether automobile, motorcycle, helmet, even houses is that they have very bad time management skills. I have never had a painter take less than twice the amount of time as originally scheduled.  

Well if you sniffed as much paint as they have...

That guy sounds like a total asswipe. And trying to read what he types hurts my head.

Did this asswipe 53Grafix clown at some point post something here on Vital about sending him $338 and a helmet and he'll keep the helmet and belittle the shit out of the customer?

I’m not great at math, but I don’t believe $338 on something he normally charges $500 for is a 75% discount
