Prado is an individual, his nationality has nothing to do with anything. Example….Anyone following MOTO GP? 😂😂😂

I see the MXGP fans sticking up for him. If anyone should be put off its them. He's making their series look bad. I'm not dumb though and I realize its just him and the GP guys are bad mfers. Still, that's your series champ out there quitting. I felt like RV did that too we he went out the way he did. So it goes both ways. At least he won a race and was competitive. This is pathetic

Prado isn't making the GPs look bad, he is making himself look bad. It would look bad for the GPs if he would be trying 100%, being happy with the bike situation and finishing 5-6th every weekend. Well that is not the case, we have seen plenty of other GP based riders this and last year doing what is to be expected of them and scoring up to par finishes that confirm that the level in the GPs is still very good.

Remember that this is the same Prado that insisted on being on the Kawasaki, said he wouldn't come over if it was with KTM......

All of this commotion/animosity with Prado and Kawi makes me wonder if the Kawi tent became a bit of a hostile environment and potentially had a little something to do with the relationship with Anderson going south - combine Prado’s demands with the in-coming chase Sexton I could see Kawi not prioritising Anderson as much. Knowing what we know now, I’d have JA21 under my tent any day over Prado.

Was there a review pod were they said Prado was intentionally not trying not to qualify and Kawi said fuck you we will take the 41st gate

Maybe only soft lads play American football in Europe? Everyone with a set of balls is riding motorbikes.

For a guy who did barely the bare minimum and he still finished 6th in a series.

Imagine if he actually gave a shit

The bike looked fast enough for a couple laps, wonder what made it unsafe?  Suspension fade? Brake fade? Engine problems?

You burn you fast twitch muscles in around 2min. After that slower reactions, less strength.

Ones adrenaline comes down, you become very much more risk aware.

Most can muscle a bike a few laps if you are not comfortable but that's it.

His engine might require stiff suspension (already said it was soft). Stiff suspension makes bikes nervous even if balanced. You typically go to chassi to fix that. If Kawi refuses to alter geometry as someone wrote, you are stuck.

Short was a few seconds faster and could be on podium he has said if he got to alter fork height to flush on Honda. Japan refused. Wasn't safe they said.

Yep I’m listening to the Matthes Budd’s Creek review right now; JT, Weege and Matthes all agreed that’s what happened.

I'm glad this is finally over so we don't have to read any more of this nonsense

Andrew Short didn't have the freedom to change the fork height on his Honda?  Where did you hear that one?

Short has said this himself in interview.

Couldnt move the fork to true flush. Was 2 or 3 seconds faster on practise tracks because he ran it like that anyway. Showed them the lap times said he could go podium with it. Nope. Wasn't safe said Honda Japan and refused to let him run it at races.

It's in line with if Kawi now refuses to alter geometry as someone said here.

(Edit: he could move the forks, but not to true flush to get the stability he wanted because bike was nervous)

Based on everything we've seen, this seems likely.

Prado has a chance of doing really good at the SMX races!
-Starts are more important, less passing options and shorter races
-Tracks are smoother
-Tamed down SX obstacles (great for a George with limited SX experience)
-Dirt/prep has been dry, reminiscent of the GP's

True, but I just don't think you're going to see a lot of effort out of Jorge.

I'm sure this guy will get in trouble for commenting that, but I have an increased level of respect for Kawasaki because he posted the truth online .

Has anyone checked to see if the bike's aerodynamics are messed up because of the excessive visor length?

Aero isn’t an issue at idling around the outside speeds.

That's next level over compensation.

There's bros driving lifted trucks in so-cal trying to figure out how to work this into their look.
