Simple, where did he once say he has work to do? He could've mentioned i didnt communicate effectively enough to the team on what I needed, I suggested wrong set up ideas, but instead he is blaming the entire team like he is the victim.

Team Kawasaki has a history of not accepting rider input.

A long history Larry Ward was a team green kid around 2000 he struggled & yrs later said the bikes where real bad  & they wouldn’t listen to make changes the rider needed. He beat  Stew in 03 on a stock 250f  with a pipe , so he had speed yet. John Dowd was a top 3 guy not on the kx tho. Yogi never did anything on them either .  He would’ve been better on a stock bike but corporate would never let that happen.  Funny every page has a Prado Fox add.  Everyone is talking more about his  bike . Better advertising because it’s free. More than Honda & there winning both classes . 3 yrs from now Kawi could hv the best bike , so you hv to play your cards right .  But not really if Prado can win they,d hire him back . Like nothing ever happened.

Ward never beat Stew in 03 so you’re going to have to check your data Pro, he beat him in 02 when James was a rookie at maybe washougal? (That’s me going off the top of my head) big bird also won red bud 01 on a moto xxx Yamaha 250f) Lusk won a a SX in 03 and was on the podium a bunch in his 2 years with Kawi. Everyone shitting on kawi forget what they’ve done:

It will be interesting to see how Chase goes on the Kawasaki.

A hard earned 6th which is good. Who cares about the riders sitting out for Lame excuses.  Add the points . Up if you don’t want to race & sit home you get no points. I like his honesty instead of the wore out excuses we always get.  It’s like a TMZ series drama  now more than a Great series .  The 1st 3 tracks suck hard make that 4 .  Then an easy sand track , red Bud Vet track , Millville the best race . If he got 6th overall in the series on your Cr125 pro then I think we could call his series finish good 🤣🤣🤣🤣

If he got 6th on a CR125, he should hang his head in shame, the CR125 is faster than larger works bikes with more power...

Maybe he should hire Johnny O'Mara as a trainer!

3 podiums this year and 6 last year all on this platform. If Jason can do that, Chase will be fine. It's not the bike.

2024 VS 2025

2.59 VS 9.58 = average poistion in motos he finished
42.2 VS 26.2 = points scored by week-end (without quali points for MXGP)
11 VS 0 = overall wins
16 VS 0 = overall podums
17 VS 0 = race wins
32 VS 0 = race top 3
365 VS 6 = laps led
23 VS 0 = fastest laps of the races
7 VS 0 = pole position in practice

the only way we will  only know the facts is if he swaps brands and starts pulling it out of the bag.

i am hoping he does, then he can basically back up what hes saying and preserv a bit of dignity, but if he's still under performing, then pack his bags on flight back home looking bit of a mug

Jorge you could of Handled this better you are a Great Human Being on a MC, in Your Defence your Bike Looked Terrible, the Suspension setup made the Bike look UnRideable, that Bike Looked more Nervous than a Deer in the Headlights , the Forks looked like PoGo Sticks, No wonder you were Done after a few laps you were getting Beat up! Question is how can Factory Suspension get that Badly set up?

It will be interesting to see how Chase goes on the Kawasaki.

I think this year’s outdoors debacle with Prado will actually benefit Sexton. It’s been so bad that Kawi may be pushed to be more flexible with bike changes.
The other big thing is that Sexton’s style is closer to Prado’s (when he’s trying), than it is to Anderson’s or Tomac’s, so progress made this year on the engine should make it more suitable for Chase. Suspension and chassis will be the deal maker or breaker.

The bike is clearly not the problem.  Febvre is proving that.  With all the technology these teams have, the bike is exactly as he requests.   He's pulling a Chad Reed, blaming everyone but himself.  Reed ended up having to run his own team, as no one wanted to go near him (Main Sponsors).  Can we see Prado coming up with 'SixOne Racing'?   Dog on your sponsors, they soon back off.  This is extreme, certainly didn't expect that from Prado, one of the most respectable and humble personalities in the game.  All that's gone now.   Just spoiled little brat.

I wonder if they can just not give him a bike. It would be expensive to have him sitting around but they should NOT give him what he wants and just let him go. Lets see where his value is after a year of riding the bench.

How did the privateers nail their bike set up? Mitchell Harrison has more heart than Fraud-o has talent.

This is great. Has there ever been such a great rider from Mxgp come over and flop so bad. And yes I get he still ended up 6th but I’m sure I’m not the only person expecting him to fight for the championship.

Reed forming his own team and building the bike how he wanted it, without factory restrictions, and then immediately being arguably the fastest he ever was, is probably not the best argument for it not being the factory bike! 😂

Either way if he doesn’t perform on the next platform, he has committed career suicide with his antics this year

Not true.   Teams will build the bike exactly as you want, but, no one would go near him for fear of the public abuse.   It was an embarrassment.

We've never seen anyone so arrogant as Reed in the game... and that's not what sponsors want to see, or will tolerate.   How Prado has continued without Kawasaki terminating the agreement is bewildering.  The bike is more than capable.

A true champion will find a way.  Sorry, there’s just no way that Kawasaki is so bad that an elite rider can’t win on it.  It’s not like it’s an 82 CR450.  I’d also expect the team could make adjustments to the bike based on his feedback.  Sorry, slick, I think you should underestimated how strong the series is.

Prado and Febvre are not riding stock bikes, Febvre is racing MXGP, in a team who allow changes to the bike, Kawasaki USA have a reputation for restricting changes riders may make.

Similar to Yamaha under Keith McCarty.

I will smirk a bit tough when Chase will act in maybe a less severe but similar way next year, we will see.

KTM let Chase use KYB fork inserts ffs, something like that wont happen with KAW.

Hope Jorge stays in the us, on a austrian bike.

Ya say that about the inserts, but the year or so before, Ktm wouldn't let Webb do bubbly boo about the forks. Then Chase came in.....Whaddya bet after the Prado flustercuck, Kawi are now prepared to accept a tad more leniency

Kawi in states can’t change the geometry.
Prado has no confidence in the bike and constant disagreements with team philosophy.
He’s riding for free this year because he has to pay Kawi this years salary for next year.

So to all you who thinks he should go out and try harder on a bike and team he will never ever win with is never going to happen.

Hate the bike and team then you ride for free (or pay) all year for year two to get a release is Kawis deal.

So why should he try 100%. Save it, learn the tracks a little and come out next year in a KTM.

KTM is in a win win for next year.
Bonus only.
If he wins the bike looks great.
If he loses Prado is the problem.

When did Reed blame the bike and it actually not be the problem? Even then I remember very few cases where Reed wouldn't say "We/I need to be better, we will get him next weekend"

Sounds like Yamaha in MXGP, where all engine changes, feedback or requests has to go through Yamaha Japan, even though they dont have anything to do with building the engine since its Rinaldi.

Short wasn't allowed to alter geometry either for his Honda. Couldn't change fork height to real flush.

If that is the case here with geometry, it's a fucking disgrace and as i have said from the beginning Kawi need to take the full blame for not making such small changes and stand with the rider.

Even for weekend warriors, changing geometry of the bike can be critical on certain tracks.

For Chase’s sake (and the 450 class) i really hope so. Would be shit for Jorge tough if suddenly the kawi-commies go all in and let the riders decide what is working or not.

2026 will be interresting in many ways!
