Red Bull and Honda have quite a history, after all.
isn't the WSBK team still Red Bull sponsored? Or has it been a few years? I can't remember if Iker has a RB helmet or not?
Yoi're assuming said sponsors would want anything to do with what really is a niche sport with a fan base largely composed of blue collar types. They want to parade contacts around Monaco, not meet AP and Dangerboy in a muddy field aomewhere.
Now, DeWalt, Milwaukee, various truck brands, fast food joints, RC car brands, that sort of thing, now we're talking.

You may be too young to remember these sponsors.
The reason you don't/won't see them or similar ones is because congress passed one of those "protect the children" laws and made it illegal for "vice" products (ones you have to be over 18 to buy?) to sponsor events where the demographic is comprised largely of younger people. I'm pulling this from memory so I don't recall the specifics, but this is why all these sponsors are gone and not an option.
They wouldn't be interested. Completely wrong demographic. For the 1000th time F1 has always appealed to wealthy elites. Those companies you listed would take one look at someone like AP dressed up as a redneck cowboy - and a sample of the fans - and say, ah, no.
Think Dollar General and you’re more in the ballpark of companies that fit our demo 😂

Do you guys think RB is going to keep up with the amazing amount of support they provided for so many types of niche sports now that the founder of RB has passed away?
don’t think it’s going to stay the same for much longer. But I sure hope the KTM partnership continues. KTM won’t be the same without it
She doesn't do dirt
This. It is still a privately held company. Rumor has it the remaining shareholders don’t have the passion for action sports that Dietrich did. I heard from someone involved in the project that they spend somewhere in the neighborhood of $30-50,000,000 on the Stratos project alone. That’s what you call F you money.
I think they stopped after Hayden- pretty sure he was who brought Red Bull on in the first place, they were a personal sponsor of his for a while. Those were some goooood looking bikes! Iker has a personal deal with them, as does MM93 and a few other MotoGP and SBK guys.
I always wondered why there was a "Villo Light" graphics kit and just assumed that ryan drank alot lol. Makes sense now!
Paging the following teams
Home Depot KTM
Waffle House Suzuki
2011 Ford F250 Facebook Marketplace Kawasaki Racing
Harbor Freight Yamaha
More of a celcius guy myself but I dig the sentiment haha.
Brother have you had a cherry slush?
I live my life for that 8 am sip lmao
It boggles the mind to consider how bad Felds sales team has to be to not land a major sponsorship deal with Caterpillar, Komatsu, Case, Kubota or even John Deere.
Every single weekend you've got 50k contractors, farmers and future diesel techs packed into a stadium watching dirt get mived around in front if them and you can't sell that?
You're fired!
How does twisted tea sponsor H.E.P. if that is the case?

Like I said, I was working off memory and didn't want anyone to take what I said as gospel. I know MC had the Bud Light sponsorship but I couldn't remember how that fit in the legislation, so I did a quick search and the link below is part of what I found. I seemed to remember it being part of the big tobacco lawsuit/settlement but obviously didn't remember the specifics. See if the link sheds more light on it for you.
Nowadays, I don't think the resistance to "vice" sponsors is near what it used to be (I can image something like Only Fans inducing strokes it it existed back then) but these have been on a team level, not series sponors. Not sure how well received they would be if they took the place of Monster. 😄 After all, SX is still marketed as family entertainment.

I definitely wasn't trying to pull a "gotcha", I was just curious and figured it would add to the conversation. The MXA link makes it seem as though alcohol sponsors weren't banned, but just no longer pursued in conjunction with the limitations on tobacco sponsors.
Well if KTM has a contract you can bet your bottom dollar they will honor it. Unless of course you are one of their suppliers who got thirty cents on a dollar.
Home Depot KTM even matches colors! I spend a lot at HD, must be a fit.
On a Red Bull note, will Eli become a full Red Bull athlete?
If I remember correctly, they can not sponsor a rider under 21.
He likes to fly and drive cars and ride bikes. If eli and red bull arent a marriage waiting to happen i'm clueless.
Any company with a marketing budget these days needs to see ROI for every dollar spent. They’re realizing it’s nearly impossible to measure the effectiveness of and return on putting their logo on a helmet or tank shrouds.
Boo Koo KTM on the way baybeeee
Which is kinda weird considering most people who race are middle/upper middle class.
They let these guys sponsor moto GP! And it took them a year to figure out what it was
Methamphetamine Gas Gas
Really? If that is the case it seems they're not 'culturally' upper class. Someone can have a lot of money and still be a total bogan. Same applies for the middle class, although in the US context, it's my understanding middle class doesn't mean the same as in the rest of the world. It seems in the US you can be 'middle class' and still be pretty skint. Most of the really rich people supporting their kids in moto seems to be ex-pro riders, or owners of 'blue collar' type businesses or moto-related businesses. I've not seen any aristocrats or owners/CEOs of tech companies for example.
