It’s really a good thing Chase can ride like he does, and most of these other guys too, because he sure has shit for brains and would not last a minute in the real world. What a bitch.

What a ridiculous take. Beyond stupid….🤦‍♂️ that was one hell of a crash we have no idea how he’s feeling.

Has it already been confirmed he’s going to Kawi?

Yes. But not 'officially' because the teams live in some bizarre alternative universe in which announcing when someone has signed a contract is forbidden. Only sport to do this by the way.

It’s gonna be cool to see him in green, even though he’s done super well on the KTM. The Kawi just needs a little black on it, like Phil Nicolette’s

since when did riders who signed a contract to race get to decided to just sit out races if they are frustrated or anything they can dream up? If Chase was in a points battle for the championship we all know he would be there this weekend. So using this logic can the team just decide not to show up? No semi, no bikes, just "not feeling it" This is crazy the top guys just pull out and decide, nope, not racing. Aside from obvious injuries,  get your ass to the track or your fired, simple.

It’s the new contracts no injury clause they get paid 1-3 mil to race or not race.  The drivers for the teams should shut down & not travel in winter storms. The teams don’t pay them nothing , why   get killed for it. Wayy too many truckers are killed in winter storms. This winter is supposed to a doozy . Truckers that keep Everyone in the country alive, get fined for being 1 minute late. Riders should be fined for not jumping the quad every lap & not showing at least 80% of throttle in a race .  Chases hit was a average hit in the nfl . Shows ya how weak & pampered the riders are now. Pastrana won championships with a cast on his wrist . Ryno raced with a broken leg .  Fan boys stand up & protect them . But there not the majority.  There’s vet riders that struggle to walk that race every weekend . Just look at the low turnout at iron man .

Actually I’m not completely wrong. No fans = no money. I don’t care how or who pays them if nobody watches the races the sponsors are going to put money elsewhere. Sponsors put money elsewhere manufacturers pull out.

I guess you’re not familiar with HIPAA regulations. He doesn’t have to say anything. If a doctor agrees he should be out then he’s out. These guys aren’t just “missing work” without a reason. The teams can’t do anything about it.

These people think he is supposed to tell everyone why he missed time. He doesn’t have to and the team can’t say anything either. That is my point with HIPAA, he’s protected by it. There is a reason when you go on disability or miss work with a note from the Doctor it  doesn’t have a diagnosis. Your employer doesn’t get to know why you’re missing work. Just the way things are now.

On top of it, the beginning of the year was the first time Chase missed time and now this. That’s in his whole career, even going back to 250s. I don’t understand all the rage about it. He’s raced more than anyone else going back maybe 8 years? He’s been worth the money he’s been paid.

He missed five races after Pala in 2023.

In any case, as I said earlier it’s not that he’s missed races it was the circumstances and lack of clarity when he missed races at the start of this outdoor season.

Why would he miss the SMX championship and the $$$ that comes with it?

Ryan was the only guy I wanted to actually talk to.  Either the line was too long or he was in the trailer...just never got the chance.  Caught his eye one time at Ironman...or Buds Creek? ..the year him and Tony played for the summer.  Stuck out my hand and started walking toward him only to realize there was about 100 people wainting in line to get an autograph.  We shrugged and smiled and I went on down the track where I met Roger.

We talked for a bit while walking until some emergency took him off to wherever.  How he found time to be a decent human to me...one in a thousand people wanting his time...is what cemented my respect for him.

Alpinestars, KTM and Renthal are less concerned with how many fans watch the races on tv or trackside, and very concerned with racers buying the product. This has always been the case, even before the tv coverage we have today, and even before supercross existed. And top dollar usually goes to the guy with the number one plate, no matter how many races he attends, because they still get to claim they are part of that championship.

lol.  He knows he’s out of championship.  And done with KTM.

Chase was healthy to race Hangtown but took a vacation.

Not fair to the fans that bought tickets.

Villopoto is so damn cool.  I feel like he was miserable during his racing career.  I had a beer with him last year.

Most disappointing MX season since Villopoto in 2009.
