You are absolutely spot on there. It's brutal when you hear some of the people involved in the sport discuss any topic outside it. Their lack of education, let alone general knowledge, is painfully inadequate. I think it's a big problem, but constantly apparent, that people who know very little, always think they know a lot due to the fact they simply don't know very much. The people who know the most, and are experts in any field, always are the ones that will admit to how little they know. They know how vast the knowledge base is. Unlike a turd like Ping, who I've seen wade in on a whole bunch of medical related topics, just because he has some kind of certificate in first responding from his fire fighter job. I would venture to say his knowledge of politics in any sophisticated sense is non-existence also. As for GL, all he knows is where to get the cheapest and strongest liquor. And even then his wet brain struggles to figure it out.

I really enjoyed Ping's takes when he was on Pulp, early on with the race review podcasts, and his appearances on the main show.
I also really enjoyed the first year or so of the Whiskey Throttle show.
I stopped listening to the Whiskey Throttle show when GL left, and Ping started to get a little hotter with his takes progressively, until recently when he's gone full Cooksey (full retard).
I felt like Ping brought great value in his media roles, similar to JT. I think his inability to separate political views from business relationships has really screwed him.

yeah. it was sort of taken out of context. he was speaking from Prado's point of view, after riding his nuts off and having a desk jockey ask him why he's so slow. they didn't need to call him a fuck, but it certainly drove the point home. it wasn't a personal attack on Lewis IMO, other than 'hey if you didn't race, maybe show some grace to the riders' (their opinion, im not judging any journalists here)

Some of your posts as far as his alcoholism are a little tone deaf, though. I admittedly have a soft spot for people with addiction issues being one myself. I said it was ridiculous because unless you are employed there and personally know what everyone does you're not qualified to state that opinion. He may or may not be there daily but the strategic vision of an organization is just as important as the day to day.
