No increase is a surprise these days. Wait for black Friday, create a new email and sign up for the year for less than $50

America is trying, and trying hard to take the lead on that.

My Xfinity Wi-Fi at the house comes with free Peacock. Does anyone know if the free Peacock you get with Xfinity gives you the same SMX coverage as the paid version?

IIRC, I think it went from $5.99 to $7.99 last year.

Everyone is essentially "auctioning" their products/services these days - see how much you can run up the price before demand tapers off.

You know, I have to wonder how much longer they'll offer the BF deal if sales are good enough for NBC to feel confident enough to nearly double prices in the last year or so.

Yea, I wonder that too, I also got Hulu for like 2 bucks a month 2,  pretty sure netflix don't have sales like that, maybe that's why.

If any of you or your significant others have Instacart+, you get peacock included in that membership. That’s what I’ve had the last two years.

I read it as $10.99 a month. Which is $131.88 annually

Yes. That's a great deal. 2.5 dollars a race is a pretty good average to me. But it isn't just a stand alone service. There's a ton of other things you and/or your family can watch on top of that cost which adds even more value.

This is how Cable and Satellite tv started only they have great picture and no buffering, low price to reel you in than price increase after price increase.

I have never had any buffering and maybe a few seconds of blurry picture but that's almost never and only on start up.

Peacock has me by the balls. I watch hours upon hours of dirtbikes. 5 hours x 31 races means that I’d pay just about anything. Plus now my lady has some peacock original shows she is in to.

I didn’t know they had a year subscription.

BTW There is a lot more on Peacock to watch than just the races.

When people brag about paying to watch a 3 hr commericial... 🤣 ... while it screws our sport and riders because it's behind a paywall... 🤣 ... when live and free on youtube is the best marketing by far, but the nephaliem at the top paywall it to make 8 digits, then don't share one penny with those risking the minds, spines and lives.... 🤣🤣🤣

It comes with Spectrum, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't include the ad-free version.

I would guess that it's the same for Xfinity.  It probably includes the Premium package, which has ads.  You need Premium Plus for ad-free.

My wife...WHO NEVER EVER WATCHES sx/mx with me this morning asks after getting the price increase news:

"So...do you ever watch Peacock?" 😒😦😡

I responded, "Yeah hun, it's the channel  that shows sx/mx...you know...on Saturdays...when i randomly get excited and talk to my online friends about the big race?

"Oh ok, well, they raised their prices and i hate when i watch The Office that they have so many commercials"

She then went back to reading her National Geographic.

When I had Xfinity internet I had free Peacock premium too, but I canned Xfinity because of price gouging I couldn't take. Then went to premium plus on Peacock to avoid the commercials on replays. What an annoyance. I'll cancel after MX season. Can't seem to find interest or time to watch anything on there other than MX/SX on peacock so I'll play the monthly game.

As Boomer who is in no hurry to watch these races, I am able to watch them at Off Road  Videos  (https://www.offroadvideos.org/category/ama-mx/2025-ama-mx/).

My only challenge is not hearing or seeing the results prior to viewing. Sinks my Battleship when James slips in a  reference to a moto when they run 450 first. Remember, I am old and fixed in my ways..

Seems as most people are finding a solution. Keep on watching!
