I know he went down in the first turn. He got up minus a visor, did 6 laps and quit. TV showed him when he pulled into the mechanics area and he looked ok. Maybe he fell again? Maybe the bike was too bent and he was wasting his time?

Paul and Jason were paying him a lot of respect from the tv booth.
Pancar looked great in moto 1. He was really smooth and calculated. When Febvre finally passed him he didn't lose his head, he just stuck to the game plane and had a wonderful finish.

Yep. I've never been a fan of Coenen but what he's doing this year is quite remarkable. He seems to have matured a little as the season has gone on too.
I felt like Coenen was going to win it, but I think he might have a really bad moto along the way and Febvre will win it now. Idk why
I think Febvre will crack under pressure and Lucas will become world champion

Both stories are cool. Febvre his first World title was in his rookie MXGP year, back in 2014. Coenen now is the rookie and he is in it to win it.
Shout out to Coldenhoff though, p3 in points and a wonderful season. Herlings, Prado and Gajser are out of the championship though.. As 'bad' as Seewer his season looked last year, result wise he did quite ok on the Kawi. The Ducati is a step back in that aspect. But, compared to his teammate Guadagnini (few injuries) he is doing really well.
100% agreed and whoever will win it will be cool.
Coldenhoff not having a ride for next year (yet) is wild.
Apparently the Ducati is a dog of a bike if you have to believe the rumours that both Eli and Tim don’t want to commit to the project and by the looks of it, there is truth in it because the results are a bit underwhelming.
Febvre was MXGP world champ' in 2015 (not 2014).

It's starting to look that way isn't it. I'm not sure what it means for Coenen's American dream though as an MXGP title rules him out of 250SX.

Dumb rule for sure. But i don't think removing it will change anything.
For an example, there is no way that Prado would've started out on a 250 as a MXGP champion. And i think Coenen has the same mentality, if he wins a MXGP title as a teenager he will have the mentality that he can go straight to the 450 SX class.
Wether that is smart or not is not up to me to say.
No doubt, but while the rule makes sense for motocross, it doesn’t for supercross. Two different disciplines.
I’d love to see more top level riders run the 250 Sx/450 Mx schedule alla young Christian Craig or Garrett Marchbanks, I get why riders don’t do it but it would make for interesting racing and conversation
