At Washougal he got beat by Colt Nichols and Mitchell Harrison! Wtf?

WTF?!

Literally the same shit. They play around swinging with settings. Hit and miss. 🤡

It absolutely can, just depends on the swing.

Lack of effort is also when you take extra vacation instead of going back to racing like Sexton. Don't see you crying about that.

Thats fine if you wanna go that route wit  the excuse

Masterpiece had a great year that year and was the talk of the pits that year, but lets not forget it was also a depleted 450 field woth a few guys also riding hurt

That Masterpool is even in the same conversation as Prado in terms of bike, in terms of results, or in terms of their competition is a massive indicator of how astoundingly sideways things have gone for Jorge.

Would you call those results spectacular then ?

At the end of the day everyone within these forum knows what a talent Prado is, if he’s riding a bike with has a really poor feeling, then he’s not going to over ride it & get hurt too still get beat but the Honda.

Take a chill pill & trust the process. They will either figure the bike out for him, or he’ll have to find another bike.

Prado is still Prado

His last moto Prado's fastest lap was NINE SECONDS slower than Jett. Jett could ride a 150R and do better than that

Jett could ride a 50 and do better than that.

There's no mystery to me, he hates the bike and is phoning it in and acting like a spoiled brat. The mystery is how they are going to fix it. Either way I see it, he has to either figure it out or go back to GP's because no other team here is going to pick him up.

Also, Kawasaki was straight up nutz to give him that contract with his results in those few SX's.

Staying home is apparently better than doing something. Eli getting beat by a privateer is also an exception, no WTF there despite everyone here saying he should be much higher than Prado.

None of it matters since its all circumstantial.

A 19th or 9th means shit, it's not relevant when the circumstances are known.

And dont go on about effort. Eli cut 4 sec of his lap time when needed at the end of moto. Cruises same pace as everyone around him before that and after. Could have beaten Prado a few positions fwd if he just stayed a few more laps close to that pace. But I guess he didn't mail it in?

They are all the same, they will mail it in if it isn't there.

I've never seen Eli or Chase finish a national in 14th overall without wrecking or being hurt. Prado is the problem, not the bike. He's just stealing money at this point. As a Kawi guy I hope it gets better and he starts running top 5, but I'm not convinced JP has the desire.

Hell, JA is past his prime but looked fine on the KX. Kawasaki is working hard to satisfy JP, they have Trickle as a test rider, and Chad Reed is trying to help as well. Oh and by the way, he's being paid big money.

This is key to me. All these people saying Kawi is going to be pissed he isn’t delivering, if this is accurate he is 7th and the highest placed rider on a Kawasaki in his first year in the series. I’m not saying Prado is happy with it but it’s hardly a bad performance if you forget his credentials

This is a nonsensical argument. Their other factory rider is out and the rest are mid to low-end privateers. And even with that being the case, he was still beaten straight up by Mitchell Harrison at the last race

If you put Marchbanks on that other factory 450 I guarantee he would beat Prado

Not saying there isn't a problem.

But judging effort, you have to throw in multiple riders that has done exactly that, mailing it in when they don't feel it. Including Tomacs famous going backwards rides.

Again, 19th, 9th or 9-10th on SX tracks with 22 man gate, skipping outdoor races or seasons. They all do it. Who gives a fuck about if it's a total bust or not in the results list when they just mail it in. Specially when taking swings at settings.

It has never been less relevant how many or exactly who was before Prado or Tomac in the result list at those races. Unless someone actually think Prado has been gradually degrading his capability and are now going fwd a 15-20th place guy. I'll take that bet, $1000 if so. Just let me know if you want in on it.

Tone policing and dismissive correction. Run out of thoughts I guess? That's normally when that comes in without addition of constructive replys.

Seems like it could be a pretty massive factor in setting up the bike.

I remember another rider saying those exact words and being part of his issue in the 450 class until he got with a trainer that made them ride at 100%

But does Webb still ride at 100 during weeks? I wouldn't be so sure. He left Aldon for a reason.

Bigger issue for Prado is losing race fitness since he can't/don't go full out pace wise. That quickly takes a drain specially if you are holding back during weeks. Will make it more difficult to catch up if they finally fixed it.

If you can do practise + 25min heavy sand Saturday and 2x 35min heavy sand Sunday and beat Herlings, you don't have a general problem with fitness with that approach.

Setting up bike might be different though.

So they are ahead of him in the championship? That was my point. He might not be flying but he is their best rider in the championship

Yes, and the intensity of AMA Pro Motocross.... which is leaps and bounds above MXGP for a while now!
