After attending yesterdays race and now watching the race on tv, I have to say that in my opinion, JT nails his role.  He’s passionate, intelligent and asks the right questions at the right time.  He is the man for the position.
And the lady that was on is pretty awesome as well.

Stew and Weege run a good front.  Stew tells it how it is and is not biased.  I think Stew and Weege each had  a tight throat that second 250 moto with Jmart leading.
It seemed like JT  had the same deal going on when interviewing Jmart after the second moto.   Good stuff.

Also, I think Peacock is hearing some of us fans as they cut to silence a few times while live to hear the fans and the bikes.

A great production it was.

I like that JT is starting to voice his opinion more.

Now when Weege goes to far to make up imaginary excitement out of nothing JT can say on camera that he disagrees and have a different take that often is correct.

I don’t feel that he did that in the beginning.

I have said it before that JT and Paul Malin is the best combo for motocross announcement along side of Malin and Emig. I really wish that they would let JT in to the booth.

He's definitely great in that role. I'm curious if the movie references as comparisons is some kind of bet he has with someone, though? Yesterday was Top Gun ("you can be my wing man anytime"), and earlier this year in SX, there was a Point Break/Patrick Swayze reference, and neither seemed organic – not bad, mind you, but definitely not organic. They both had a "five bucks says you can't make a Top Gun/Point Break reference work" vibe.

I appreciate how prepared he is both physically and hence mentally, he clearly applies himself.

JT is the best we have had in recent history. He was fast when he raced but was not one of the greats it was not because of lack of work and knowledge he just did not have that special extra 1% or 2%. He knows the game and works harder than everyone else and it shows in his work.

He is a natural.  As good as any sideline reporter in any sport.
He feels what the riders feel, good or bad.
Smooth delivery, crisp,  confident and he obviously was educated very well. The riders all seem to respect him also.
Id be stumbling with words, stuttering and wondering what I should be doing with my hands if I was in his position.

His podcast with Townley is great. I dont know if its a New Zealander thing but BT doesnt sugarcoat anything. Hes not scared of hurting any riders feelings. I love it

Now of only he'd start buying shirts in the men's department.

And Weigand would tone down the, over the top, hysteria he's developing.

It's a little awkward on a broadcast but I'm used to it. Everyone at work abuses random movie quotes!

I remember buying tight shirts to show off my build. I was in my early 20's

Aside from his wardrobe choices, we couldn't ask for a better trackside reporter.

I liked it when he said he was going to grab a towel and root for Jeremy.

Another thing that I haven't seen anyone mention.

They set up some really good camera locations/angles this past weekend.

I was just saying yesterday after watching the race, JT earned all my respect with that broadcast. Couldn’t of done better interviews, said the right things, I enjoyed his opinion, and how he wasn’t scared to say it.

JT is a top dog, but so is Weege and James.

If I was 5 foot nothing and had a decent set of guns I'd have the same wardrobe.  A visual reminder that if it ever came to it...I'd give you a good tussle.  JT is a-ok.

Stew kills it.  Been watching moto since the 70's and Stewart is at the top.  Sometimes comes up with new words, but I'll take it over a euro voice.  Wedge, well everybody loves Wedge, In which I'm on the list.  Wedge is special person, a great step from a yellow flagman.  JT is also awesome.  He has done a great job the last couple of years.  His first season, not so good, he just look really nervous, kind of what AC looks like on tv.  He is also at the top of the list.  Good job JT, but please stop wearing your Sisters shirts.

common denominator here is Will was no where to be found.

and the broadcast was not annoying like the past ones where they are trying to cram will into the show.

weege + stu + JT is all they need.

JT did a GREAT job by redirecting JMarts podium interview off the “bike set up” and onto “the moment” for JMart - gave us what we wanted to hear and I’m sure looking back JMart is appreciative of the redirect as well.  JT may be the hardest working fella in moto (WPS/Fly, broadcast, MXGP, etc), remains a nice, humble person, and is about the most “normal” person in moto with interests and knowledge of things outside of moto.

Its cool when they go silent and let you hear the motors. Maybe they could dub over the 4 stroke with 2 stroke!😉Just call the race and save the stories.

It's good to see a job go to the most deserving person. Us podcast listeners have ben enjoying JT's insight for years and it's great that viewers are now exposed to the same thing. My childish dream is that somehow we someday get Weege, JT, and Steve running the whole TV show indoors and out.

Couldn't agree more. JT offers great insight and his delivery is clear and concise. For someone that hasn't been on camera his entire life, it's even more impressive how quickly he adapted to being on live TV, which is no easy task.

LoL hell yeah. JT is a good egg. And, hey, its not conducive to an mx rider to have much muscle so JT is getting pumped up in retirement. Good for him

Unfortunately they were only doing that because of the Sunday Re-run on TV (USA) needing commercial breaks.

I certainly hope so. Steve will be unbearable if he wins

JT is awesome, Weege is awesome, Stew is awesome, Katie Osborne is great, but the production still sucks. From watching battles that don’t exist. Just to make sure they speak of the story they have prepped to tell during the moto, to the awful graphics. A TON of easy CHEAP fixes could be made to make the production much much better.

The announcing crew is the mask.

JT is perfect.

The only thing i want to change is as the race finishes, stay with the leader as he sits down, or the other two place getters.

If not that, show us all the other finishers crossing the line.

I dont want to see the generic long view of the track.
