Fastest in qualifying, holeshots, leads both motos from start to finish, and dominates. Deegan now has a full race (plus) lead on second place, and at this rate will surpass Jett's 250 wins in a few races.
Hope he races the MXoN so we can see how he stacks up against the world's best 250 riders because that will be what everyone will be looking for. Then on to face Jett and the boys in the 2026 Nats!
1-1-1-1-2-2-1-1-1-1. 💀
Wonder how Juju felt getting lapped by Deegan lol
Not even close. He's dominating.
I saw Millsaps walking up the hill back to the pits towards the last part of Moto 1 and he looked less than pleased :/ much much less than pleased. You could say he look right pissed off.
Really hope deegan races the last national on a 450. Both he and Jett will have it wrapped up by then. I don't think he is as good yet. But he will run it in on Jett if given a chance and will fight.

I'm sure his competition just hates him, but he keeps winning. Going to be a battle of the titans in the 450s.
Can't argue with the results, he's absolutely hammering these guys. I understand it's not the best 250 field we've seen, but I don't think any of the MX2 riders could run with him either
Just put him on the 450 already, I'm ready to see him go after Jett
Not sure how that would affect his smx points, but Matthes said thete is a zero percent chance of it happening. Would be cool though to see how he stacks up.
In 2009, Dungey rode the 450 at the MXoN a d won his class. But I'd imagine, much like Jett, the transition to 450s was smooth given their riding styles.
He'd have to be close to Jett to run it in on him
45 seconds up on Vialle in 3rd. Deegan is on another level this year. Last year he was faster, but this year he took it up a notch to a point where no one can even contest him.
Every rider just is not as mentally strong. Deegan has the strength and clutch factor to get the starts, make moves quickly when he doesn’t, and see lines others don’t.
Hard to say. RJ got a 9th and 3rd overall the last two races last year against the same 250 riders and got 6th overall today in the 450 class with a bad first moto start and is 6th overall in the standings. I don't remember him ever really winning much if at all outdoors in the 250 class. I would say vialle and hymas if he can ever stay healthy would be fine in the 450 class. Deegan, is starting to look like a generational talent. If he is healthy, he will be right there for podiums. He starts better than Tomac, but he will need to start better to have a chance to contend with Jett.
Just knowing hes still going to do the whole sx series on 250 too in 2026 is already just like….. just get on the 450 already theres nothing left to prove.
Especially since the only guy I think could beat him in SX is Davies and there's no way Star Yamaha is gonna put them both on the same coast
Speaking of which, it's time we get rid of the coastal series for 250 SX and go to a full combined schedule. Would be a lot cooler to see all the best 250 guys go at it every weekend
It would have 0 affect on his smx points. Hes in the lead.
He wants to defend his title, I don’t blame him.
JS7 on broadcast today 2nd Moto, speaking of Kitchen: "The last time he saw Haiden was the riders meeting" 🤣
You're getting excited again 971...
Save it for Brian after the race...
Jett will smoke him.
Pit Row
He could prove he can be the best 250 SX rider by competing against Cole Davies. He's great outdoors and is by the far the best, but in SX he's still not shown he's the same guy.
He’s maturing, his riding is too. Looks more in control and at ease.
Better yet...race the the final on a 125
I’m definitely no fan of Deegan, but his progression certainly deserves some recognition.
Three years ago he was fast but a danger to himself, and often to those nearby.
Last year he won through sheer determination, but still looked to be moments away from disaster.
However this year is different. He’s obviously worked on his technique and is simply the best 250 rider in the field.
How that transfers to 450s is anyone’s guess.
Is it certain he's going 250sx? I've seen at least a couple interviews where it seems like hes over being on the 250. Hes got no competition and he knows it. Seems to be really implying its 450 time for him
He has nothing to gain by moving up now. He is only 19 yrs old. RC said he should have delayed his own move up.
Defend his 250SX title, get better at SX, and pocket hundreds of thousands of dollars in win bonuses and another championship bonus.
The cheers for Deegan yesterday mimicked the cheers for Tomac. The vital boards would hate to hear that in person. The dude is good, and he's popular. He's everything that triggers the old fans.
Yep, I get people are growing bored of watching Jett whip everyone ass but Deegan has 3 more championships he can grab before being forced. There’s zero reason to expect him to skip out on millions of dollars just to see if he can give Jett problems.
What's it like to not be a fan of any rider until 2019, and only being a fan of two riders since? Sounds miserable. Or do you only like guys who come from AUS?
I hate when folks start Deegan posts with “no fan of Deegan”…don’t know why folks so concerned VitalMx will think they are a Deegan fan if they say something positive about him 🙄
He already did that. Davies failed miserably and is out for the year.
I'm one of the oldest fans on here and I'm a Haiden superfan lol!
