Whenever we mention Jetts name it gets down votes from the haters. So I propose we call him Adonai or Hashem on here lol

I've been watching this sport for nearly 40 years. People come and go in this sport. Tomac is a legend and when most racers have already retired this guy is still out there giving it his all. Tomac is a great champion and a great ambassador for the sport but he is 32 years old, hasn't ridden outdoors in 2 years and is coming off of an injury. What did y'all expect? Maybe my expectations were tempered because I've seen this play out so many times over the decades of watching. I'm just happy Tomac is out there and you can see it eats him up. He doesn't give up and maybe this is providing the fire for him to keep pushing and not retire. I don't think he is that far off to be honest. Tomac is a champion and he will figure it out. It won't be this season though.

Me saying what I've said is certainly not to diminish what Jett is doing. The kid is a phenomenal racer and has racecraft that is equivalent to a grizzled veteran. He is an excellent starter, rides within himself and never rides over his head, is super smooth and really damn fast! Jett is the next evolution of racer in this sport. Someone will come along eventually and displace him as always happens but can we not enjoy what he brings? Sheesh guys! Jett reminds me of when Jean Michel Bayle came to the U.S. JMB was doing revolutionary things on a motorcycle and the way Jett rides reminds me so much of Bayle (although I think Bayle was smoother and more creative in his passing).

I'll shut up now but y'all need to appreciate what you are seeing.

I'll never hate on a guy for being the best but it sure would be more entertaining ifJett fluffed a few starts so we could at least watch him charge up to first from being buried rather than being first from lap one virtually every race

No doubt what Jett is doing is incredible. Also, it would be nice for someone to step up and challenge him. I've been watching moto for a long time. Just like the days of Carmichael and 2008 Stewart. Unless you just love watching fast guys hammer laps, someone in first every round by 30+ seconds is boring AF.

The only ones who have the speed to challenge Deegan were Jo and Hymas. Hymas tore his acl. And Jo just crashed in turn 1 and crashed again on lap 2, now in 36th. These guys need to get more consistent.

I’m a fan of Jett and love to witness history unfolding while also being happy that Tomac is out there giving it everything he’s got.

You can be a Tomac superfan without hating Jett.  You don’t have to love or hate everyone.  There’s a middle ground.  You’re allowed to be neutral or dislike without hating.
