Ok….What are we doing here?
Throwing up for a month now and not getting better?
Has anyone ever been sick like this before? Is this a possible food allergy? Should he just say he got “banged up” during practice this week and take a couple weeks off to figure this out?
Garrett looking like he’s getting that last PC seat for next season at the moment but maybe Ty can turn this around somehow.
Reminds me a bit of the Casey Stoner saga. Turns out he was lactose intolerant IIRC
Around 1991 I found myself crossing the border to Matamoros and indulged in street tacos followed by spinning barber chair tequila shots and God only knows how many Dos Equis'. We returned to Padre Island in the bed of a stranger's pickup truck, and I would estimate it was about a month before things returned to normal for my system. Just sayin' it's possible.
Casey Stoner, the Australian MotoGP legend, has battled various health issues, both physical and mental. He has been diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), also known as myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME), and has also spoken openly about his struggles with anxiety and mental distress during his racing career.
Stoner was diagnosed with CFS/ME in 2018 and has described it as a debilitating illness that significantly impacted his daily life.
Initially, Stoner was diagnosed with lactose intolerance, which he later revealed was a misdiagnosis and potentially related to the Epstein-Barr virus, which can cause extreme fatigue.

We're not worthy!
Just like many illnesses, it can be minor or severe. You wouldn’t want a bad case of mono. I don’t even know what you wrote means.
I have common variable immune deficiency.
My body does not make the necessary immuglibons to have an immune system. So I don't have an immune system and have to inject ivgn once a week.
I was sickly most of my life and in my late 20s got pneumonia over and over again until I almost bit the dust. I kept getting sinus and other various infections that led to pneumonia and was only OK if on stong dose of antibiotics. It took them a solid year and a half of testing to figure out what it was. Everything from cancer to other lung diseases.
Even with the treatment I never really feel good. It's normal for me and have gotten used to it. Real pain in the butt forsure.
Pregnant
Guess you’ve never had Norovirus.
It’s a quote from Wayne’s World.
My bad. I don’t even remember it.
That sounds like one of my San Felipe jaunts in the late 70's. Good times!!!
Bro..........god damn. I turn into a total pussy when I dont feel good. I've never been one of those guys who just guts it out. Ive always stayed home until I felt better. You're a tougher man than me. I cant imagine
It lasts a month?
As long as I take the treatment, get good rest and eat well its manageable. There are alot worse things out there.
Lasts 2-3 days in my experience.
I say hurl. If you blow chunks and she comes back, she's yours. If you spew and she bolts, then it was never meant to be.
How's his gluten intake?
Pit Row
Still beating plenty of kids with rides who haven’t even been close to podium speed. Ty still deserves a ride somewhere.
I always thought the gluten thing was BS, issues with my nephew proved me wrong. Gluten allergies are legit.
Didnt he have any injury on 450s and the antibiotics ruined his stomach?
I do remember this actually. Guess this has been going on for even longer than a month :/
Only thing is those kids would put the same hurtin on Ty in sx. Hes going to have to go the privateer/B team route if he difficult to deal with and not winning. Does anyone know what makes him and his pops so hard to deal with? Pulp was even saying Mitch is pretty much over him too.
He needs to eat more corndogs
As someone whos plagued with constant gut issues and horrific GERD, people underestimate just how important gut health is. It absolutely sucks how some foods in certain amounts can ruin you for days, or just gas and bad bloating can be debilitating. Its usually all the food that tastes good to.
Had my wisdom teeth pulled. Dentist prescribe clindamyacin. Diarrhea for six months straight.....not good. No amount of healthy food, fasting for a few days at a time, or probiotics helped. Hippy friend told about a superfood powder. Took with orange juice once a day for a month (I was better in two weeks). Stopped with half the bag left. Problem never came back
this is nothing new, been going on since 2022 if not even earlier.
What was the powder?
I was wondering if this wasn't lingering effects from having his appendix removed. Did all the antibiotics he was on to finish out smx screw him up a bit, much the same way Kenny felt off for some time after having all those wrist surgeries?
Did it give you c diff? That’s a nasty antibiotic.
