Sexton probably can’t even hang with AP right now so probably isn’t a bike problem. He just won the SX title and AP is looking really good in outdoors on KTM. I don’t see moving to Kawasaki is going to help, most likely going to be even worse. Chase needs a sports psychologist more than a different bike.

Chase is going to Kawasaki for a better salary, plain and simple. It isn't so much that KTM's financial troubles effect him directly as his bonuses and performance pay is tied to insurance policies so hes good on that. He just wants to earn more money. Unfortunate that Kawasaki doesn't compete in MXDN. Deegz, JCoop and AP have to carry the team

He wouldn’t have enough time on the Kawi unless he’s riding it now. I really don’t want to see Deegan ride MXoN after bailing last year but that’ll be another thread coming soon.
While there’s little doubt that Deegan will be selected and will finally make himself available for MXdN, we just saw a few days ago that Hymas rides Thunder Valley better. That’s a good problem to have.

Yes, and Sexton, Tomac and Plessinger are all good there. Team picks will be fine... And I'm confident Deegan will want to go this year.
You can be confident he'll want to go provided the rest of the team consists of Tomac and Sexton, or AP if he continues to do well outdoors. Otherwise, it will be time for Deegan to say his team won't let him go, or he needs to get some 'hardware' taken out.
If true that Sexton is going to Kawasaki then here is a thought I have.
no matter what bike Sexton has ever been on he has been able to be one of the fastest and best riders of current times to win multiple times and win multiple titles. So, Maybe Kawasaki is offering way more to him, plus the stability as a company Kawasaki has shown for a very long time.
This Chase thing with him not riding has to be the weirdest rider/factory bike situation of all times!
