I am a Herlings fan, but he is gonna feel bad when a local holds him off for half the race !

Yup. He's 30. We're watching a 32yr old Eli look almost as good as ever. Jeffrey has definitely had more injuries and issues than Eli. But, of course, he can still absolutely wreck everyone when he's in the zone

The idea is fun, but Herlings has just now got himself sorted and probably wants to focus on his day job until the MXDN Wink

I don't know about Herlings, but Cornelius Tøndel is racing Southwick, RedBud, and Millville.

So is Conrad Mewes.

The way Herlings is riding he will be in the hunt for the MXGP championship.

He won't be at Southwick.

How about Desalle at 'Dilla in 2010? Battled Dungey hard. Herlings at Ironman is for sure the gold standard though

Everyone forgets about when Dean Ferris went over to race High Point in 2017 and was third in timed practice (if memory serves) then got second in the first moto behind Baggett! Did 'only' get 14th in the second moto though.. Sure the results don't look as good as the others but it was round 4 so they were all trying their best and there were plenty of big hitters there.

3rd is the best he can hope for unless Lucas & Romain pick up an injury.

Someone at Racer X sure has an interesting way of counting...

Yes he's 251 points down on Febvre but I think he's going to make the fight between Coenen and Febvre even more interesting.

Plus he might be under team orders later in the season.

And that was at the height of the Yama pig talk. Ferris lead a fair part of the first moto on his Aussie setup.

So what you are saying is " there's a chance".

Always a chance but very unlikely. If he wins the title it’ll be biggest comeback in history.

It's absolutely not impossible.

Improbable, sure. Not impossible.

Lay off the substances bud, herlings hasnt been relevant in 2+ years. He's most definitely not beating Jett, or even tomac l

but last to GP's he showed he is back to 100% i would say

Latvia sand vs. Southwick sand = he is definitely a contender for a win

You cant just show up to smx playoffs , have to be in top 20 in overall points combined mx/sx. Even if he went 1-1, 50 points isn’t getting him in.

A race win qualifies you to race the LCQ's

Not signed. There are not many open seats but his speed on last two races could make it easier.

What’s the heat like at southwick

His speed would be on point but his fitness due to injury and the heat in USA could hinder him

Heard some rumours about Kawasaki having talks with him, as Jonass is on an one year deal.

I think his options are Kawi, Wilvo Fantic and KTM. Is Gajser signed at HRC?
