I'd put Lechien or Windham in that 3rd spot, or maybe JMB

Different eras, different bikes, different tracks.

Decoster.

McGrath.

Stewart.

But again, different eras.

Hands down one of the most overlooked riders in terms of talent and ability. Dude was so hyper and would get distracted from the task at hand (racing) and do dumb shit, but I still feel he is the greatest "what if" in MX history. If he 100% focused on racing, he could have dominated and been one of the greatest ever. He crushed everything he ever touched; racing for a brief time, freestyle, rally, ridiculous stunts etc.

He tried the disciplined approach and got slower.  The grind wasn't for him.

I'm a Travis fan , but when he and windham tested together KW was almost always faster.

I,ve seen him race his 500 at Millville he is the best on that.  He rides too high on the bike .  Damon Huffman is much more talented on a bike . Most podiums in the 125 class ever . 1st yr on a 250 he beat MC in sx.  Then he races indoor off rd .

James Stewart

Jett Lawrence

Jeremy McGrath

These three are always the standouts in my head for most talented supercross/motocross riders all time.

No disrespect to the greats before Jeremy's time, though. I didn't get into the world of dirtbikes until the early 2000's.

No he didn't.  MC only lost one race in 96' to emig..

Huffman gave him all he could handle one round before his clutch went though.

How do you not put JMB on there but have Jett and #1?

I wasn't around then, but I feel like MC is a logical pick to be included. You gotta have insane skill to become an all-time great at a sport you didn't even compete in until your teen years.

MC, Tripes, JMB, Travis, Dogger, Jett, Everts. No way I could do just three.

ouuuuu this is hard cause theres many u can choose but my personal list just from growing up watching on tv & going to the races , it would be stew , TP199 & Kenny , now Kenny & Jett is interchangeable to me , I guess u can say  their tied on my list

honorable mention : K DUB & seely , seely to me is underrated when it comes to bike skill for the discipline of supercross just due to his bmx background

Riders like Rc and Tomac should be in a separate category. Their ability to raise their level to their competition then push that bar further than anyone was willing to go was more based on their heart rather than talent. With that in mind I go in no particular order. MC for just mastering supercross so beautifully. He brought finesse to the sport. Rob herring could turn up and beat anyone in the world on his day. I think we have all seen a stew video or race that left us wondering how he did it.

Tomac is by far the most underrated of all time. Look at the numbers.
