Hits the deck, then complains about it being the bike just like he did all last year AND the year before.

He said the Honda sucked when he rode that even though Jett seemed to have no problem staying on top and smokin his azz, then he said it was the bike every time he crashed on the KTM . . All he does is whine about the bike, and pout after the race if he doesn't win, it's pathetic.

What happened the last time a Honda 450 racer was out getting an ACL fixed during SX and came back for the nationals?  I know he's got less time than RC had. But it wouldn't surprise me if Jett went out and had a perfect season, or was only in the top 3 as he rides into shape.

I am just glad the outdoors are starting and we will get to see Tomac ,Prado and the Lawrences out there again.

Starts making silly mistakes costing him moto wins. Starts blaming the bike and in how it’s unridable, wants to switch to Kawasaki asap an start testing for SX.

Jett finds his groove and race wins look like they start coming easy all while Eli keeps him honest.
J.Coop,AP7 and Hunter battle and snag podiums when opportunity comes about.

Tomac and Jett ride tight and finish 3rd and 4th behind JCoop in 2nd.

You may be right. I think it will be more like, "Tomac and Jett ride tight and still wax Sexton like he was an original paint '60s muscle car." Justin Cooper lands in 4th after scaring the wits out of Sexton. We'll see.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Sexton cleans house at Pala and wins by over 8 seconds.  What do you think?

-has trouble viewing the track as he turns his helmet 180 degrees consistant with his hat on the podium.  😊

Stay safe to all the riders and lets get this show rollin.

Just saw Chase in the Orlando Airport with a AP7 hat on, no team logos. I’m saying he wins by 30-seconds.

I’ll make it make sense…

Current poll says:

130 votes saying he wins.

215 votes saying he loses.

The rest of the detail is irrelevant.

Saying he manages a 2.5 sec lead so everyone thinks they’re close and don’t get fired up thinking they just got handled.  Then he drops hammer at round two, gets a good point lead in time for everyone else to be back to form at rd 3. Then Jett wins out.

I’d say he has a good shot at winning. Extra motivated from losing to Webb by a few points. Wouldn’t be surprised if Tomac nails a start and leads or gets mid pack start and puts in fastest lap times. Jett is the biggest unknown for me, but he may come out swinging. Can’t wait for outdoors

I think he struggles with the bike and goes 3-5 but comes out next weekend and wins.

Jett fans can’t fathom the idea of anyone beating Jett.

Sexton is a great rider, no doubt, and he may win. But, now that Tomac, Jett,  Hunter and a couple others are back, they may start really pushing the pace...he may start making the same mistakes he used to make. Just having these guys back can mess with a guys head. Even if Chase is leading a few laps, he knows they have had the pace in the past to do whatever they want and he may crack like he's done before.

I’d like to see Chase overcome his fear of Jett, but that remains to be seen. For now, he’s still Jett’s son.

He’ll likely latch on to Jett’s rear fender for most of the year, and we’ll get really excited thinking he’s going to make a pass with 2 laps to go, and then he’ll tuck the front in the most boneheaded of ways and kill everyone’s boner. Meanwhile, Eli will be cruising to 1st 10sec ahead of both of them.

Ha!  I love the play-by-play bench racing predictions.  Keep them coming.

I purposely didn't open this thread because I honestly am a fan of all these guys.  I'll be over the moon no matter who wins and devastated for the rest.  They've all bled and cried and fought in the arenas and fields...for our attention.  All deserving...now FIGHT.

I'm a fan of all the riders as well.  It makes it very nice to be able to pick who you want to win each race but not really care for the outcome as it doesn't matter to me, I just want to see good racing and multiple winners.  I'll be picking Jett and Tomac to win after they get a couple gate drops.

The tone for the season could be set at Pala.  Depends on who wins and how.  Could line up to be epic.  Can't wait.

I'm not a jett fan. I would like to see Sexton win. Until we see Sexton beat a healthy jett I can't say Sexton will win. Then you add in pala and jetts record there and you have to bet on jett even if he isn't 100%. Does that mean chase won't win pala? No. It means the odds that jett wins at pala are very good. With that said let's go chase I hope he can win.

Sexton needs to holeshot and win one of the motos this weekend just to prove to himself that he can do it. If he gets mediocre starts, shows great speed, and goes 3-2 or something similar, I think that will hurt his mentality. He puts a lot of pressure on himself, and he'd likely think, "even with Jett and Eli coming back from injury, I couldn't win a moto and stamp myself as the favorite".

Conversely, I think Jett and Eli are playing with house money to an extent. As long as they are competitively fighting within the top 5/around the podium, they (and the rest of the field) will know that they're already strong enough to be competitive and will likely work back to the top step soon enough.

It is going to be hard to know until Saturday, but I don’t think Sexton was this fast racing Jett previously. Sexton has progressed while Jett has at best stayed the same while being off the bike so much. If Sexton can keep it upright, I have a hard time seeing him not winning the first couple.

-30 due to New KTM investor stipulation that Sexton must smoke a Hookah when on the podium.

Same thing everyone said before SMX last year when Jett came off the couch and beat Chase

It's a new day, new season.  Lots has happened...is happening to these guys.  The first race doesn't reveal who's gonna win the thing but it'll show us who's comfortable and who ain't. 🙃

I can already see it, Jett gets a 4th at Pala, the forum will explode and everyone is like "he's washed, that's Sextons season to lose" and then Jett goes on a run and doesn't lose an overall anymore. 🤣

Jett and Hunter are on the newer bike that they had success with last year...Tomac said recently that he is coming in at 100% and didn't remember being this ready for outdoors before. Sexton who knows... with the faster speeds outdoors might hit the "tuck the front, booyee" switch. Dont leave out the 94 he might just surprise some of these people. I'm also hoping to see a fast and competitive Jorge. Hopefully someone else finds a way to add something to the mix.

"Don't leave out the 94..."

He's not racing. Might do select races later this summer. He's recovering from surgery.
