Really cool to see A.P. as a guest on Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s “Dale Jr. Download” podcast today.
Such a great moment for the sport. It will certainly bring more exposure to folks that might have tunnel vision for four-wheel racing only.
Jr. was definitely trying to learn a bit more about MX and SX as well as other off road disciplines like GNCC.
In my opinion, it’s worth a watch if you get some time.

Thats a great crossover, watched some of Dale JR's his stuff cause of his involvement with iRacing, cool to now have Plessinger there and them talking moto!
Drama aside, his episode with RC is actually really good and Ricky does a good job of being himself and less of the booth Ricky. Dale Jr seems like such a down to earth and humble guy, excited to give this one a listen.
It's been a pretty good year for AP on the publicity front; Dale Jr.'s podcast, and a shout out from Texas Congressman Morgan Luttrell on the floor of Congress...
Isn’t his twin brother the guy who the movie “The Lone Survivor “ was based on?

Dale jr. stories about working at the dealership are really funny
Yes, they are twins and were both Navy Seals
Yes sir.
Morgan is a very cool guy.
He helped a family member of ours a couple of years ago that was having medical issues in prison that were not being addressed.
Marcus is the one who left his team mates on the side of the mountain….. go down the rabbit hole on that special ops operation
Good podcast. The ads every 3-5 minutes are pretty aggravating.
The current crop of moto podcasters could learn a lot from the way Dale Jr. conducts an interview. I’m so tired of the “talk about what happened in turn one” type of questions.
Dale jr seemed really interested in the technical side , it would be cool to get someone like lars or Ian on too talk about it
I’ve been a fan of Dale Jr. literally my entire life.
Growing up I always went to NASCAR races and had 8 Bud merch, 88 AMP and Nat Guard merch.
It’s cool to see that all these years later Dale Jr. is still such a solid dude.
He’s such a good podcaster and I never gave it a chance because I kind of fell out of nascar, but after listening to him with AP I started listening to his other podcasts with older nascar drivers and man it gave me some nostalgia.
NASCAR isn’t what it used to be but being a Dale Jr. fan from 2000 to 2012ish was awesome.
It was a good interview. Dale has really found his niche doing this stuff. I'm a little surprised at how little AP seems to understand how his bike works though lol. Dale seemed to be trying to lead him down a path regarding suspension setup and chassis geometry and maybe the similarities between the cars and the bikes in that regard and AP kind of whiffed on it.
I watched the interview and thought it was good. I’m not a nascar fan but enjoy Dale jrs podcast, so it was cool to see AP on there. JR really seemed interested in mx/sx. I too thought AP kinda missed the mark by not answering the questions being asked but JR did a great job of bringing him back around. Overall i thought it was “good for the sport”.
Same here, I got the impression AP’s done a lot more riding than wrenching 😀. I thought he’d go into sag / head angle / steering / firm vs soft / tires etc. What I would consider beginner level set up info. Never mind mapping, holeshot devices. Dale seemed like he’d be super into the set up science.
I thought the same thing the entire episode, it's almost scary how little some of these pro's know about the technical side of things
