OK...I get that, and I also get that Star thought Eli would retire before now...but he is a top-box contender where some others might be a question mark (yeah, I mean Deegan). If for some reason Webb gets injured this season outdoors, and can't do the SX season next year...and Tomac goes on a win streak on a different brand, Star might feel like they stepped in it.

KTM AG's insolvency proceedings did not affect KTM N.A.'s budget for '25, it was already approved and funded. Next year is different, they still don't even know who will own the controlling interest in KTM AG going forward.

I believe the triumph ride could of been offered to Wilson as well. Especially if rockstar is heading over there and rockstar and Wilsons relationship.
