He was being RJ for RJ to win the title. This wasn't a team move. As Tom said in the press "I knew RJ would do something and that was my best shot"

The pass is only good if you execute. Osborne’s pass on Savatgy was the last lap for the Championship. Even then, half of fans thought it was egregious. It’s not an easy thing to defend if you can get cleaned out from someone not even attempting to turn. Even Juju getting in between the championship battle, makes you see what KTM was willing to do for this championship.

I want people to take the juju criticism to it's logical conclusion and say out loud what you think he should have done in this race?

The hypocrisy on this stuff is wild. All praise for jcoop refusing to pass his teammate or ap dropping anchor and basically refusing to race anyone, but the guy who is racing for a spot on the podium is the bad guy because he didn't "stay out of it."

Refusing to race guys like normal is NOT staying out of it.........

Should be simple enough to expect everyone there to race clean and actually try to do their best but many of you seem to selectively disagree.

The difference is J Coop and AP simply slowed down. No contact and nobody was taken out. I don’t like any of it.      I’d rather everyone ride to their potential and the best rider win. We’ll never see that because there’s too much money to be made.

It would be a very different story if he executed, you are correct.

Time for penalties for blatant take outs?

No definitely not. Unless we're talking about a move like Bradshaw using his bike as a missle on Chicken. Too much of a grey area and a slippery slope.

The result is the same, they’ve affected the total points racers have received. If JCoop was going for it the last couple weeks he could’ve taken points away from Coop and been on the second step of the podium. He was fine with backing it down and the result is he teammate keeping his point gap

What an absolute meat head move. Can we get an RJ switching his brain off compilation every week. The guy is a complete moron when his helmet is on. He had the pace, just make the pass stick and go Rick.

I didn't see any of the post race interviews, what did RJ have to say about the incident ?

That, my friend, is what has been coined "RJ going RJ". I was in no way shape or form shocked by that outcome. It has and forever will be wreckers or checkers for Rick.

They were racing for a podium spot in a shootout. Julian did nothing wrong and nobody would say a damn word if it would have been Thrasher up there since he is not a teammate of Vialle.

RJ is the dumbest rider ever, no idea how he’s even smart enough to go fast. There’s a reason he’s been in the 250 class for 15 years. What a dumbass. He has no accountability either.

I recall JT saying he actually hoped Vialle wouldn't win because he'd be forced into 450s and he's not ready, which I agree.

What makes you and JT think that? I'd say he's ready. Will he win? No. Will he be 5th-8th? Probably.

He left the GP’s because he did not want to move up to a 450.

With him starting to fade mid moto and making mistakes on the 450, he is not ready for a 450.

But they could always let him ride a 350 like Cairoli did to ease in to it. Some riders will always be better small bike riders, and Vialle might be one of them.

Bonehead move on RJ part. I don't think he meant to take them both out for sure. I would be more mad at Juju then anyone but it's racing. Great series and was pulling for Seth for sure.

He always does it wrong. Tried same thing with Jett in the mud. Same result, him going down. There is a reason he’s still in the 250s…yet some reason Pulp and and the minions continue to blow him for some reason 🤷‍♂️

Fuck RJ. And I agree with your take on Pulp. Mattress used to bag on Davalos relentlessly week in week out for still being in the 250 class and yet never says squat about that sandbagger extraordinaire Hampshire.

Nothing. He was already back at the old peoples home, tucked up with a cocoa and a blanket. Plus, his memory is not so good nowadays...

I don't like the 'checkers or wreckers' description for RJ. It's more like 'very very occasionally checkers or wreckers'. Stew is the proper person for that description. In his prime in SX, he would pretty much win every race unless he crashed out spectacularly. RJ is seldom winning or even close to winning when he has yet another one of his crashes.

I can agree with that sentiment for sure. Maybe "WFO for better or worse" would have been a more accurate description

Maybe after 10 years they should be relegated to the futures class.

Good for him I say...

When has he ever raced a 450 to 'fade and make mistakes'?

Would be cool if he raced the 350.

I like RJ, but he makes horrible decisions on the track. The apology to Seth and PC here is nice but you show who you really are by your actions and what you do in the heat of the moment. Again, I like RJ and I get that he had to do what he had to do, but he has extremely low racecraft IQ.
