This incident is one of the most violent collisions I can recall seeing.
I have read some crazy responses in this thread,
Watch the video and ask yourself this: was Davies out of control when Jordan landed on him? Could Davies have move toward the closest side of the track after he missed his mark, or line, and slowed down? IF Cole had moved over to the side of the track as he was slowing down, would he be racing tonight?
Post Edit: Just saw the overhead angle on the night show and it did appear while Davies was slowing down and he cross rutted and got pulled into Jordan's line.

I like Davies but it seemed like he just had a minor lapse in judgement. He obviously made a mistake, missed the rhythm and then coming off the table swerved right into the middle of the track. You don’t roll the rhythm in the middle. Feeling good P1 in qualifying and just made a mistake. Bad timing in my opinion. Definitely not on Jordan, I’m sure he was committed already.
I hope he’s not too hurt. I’m sure he will miss outdoors but hopefully his arm isn’t bad.
Hate to say it but it was a rookie mistake.

Drone showed Davies went to the right then went to the left kind of a zig zag. Hope the Davies gets surgery to fix whatever it is so he can make some of the outdoor nationals.

They had his arm in a soft cast. Likely a broken humerus. Not much chance he makes the first race.
After seeing the vid of Davies being carted off it doesn't look very promising. The way they had his arm wrapped and stabilized I don't expect to see him again anytime soon.
