He was clearly faster at the end of the race, he just didn’t need to be that aggressive on his teammate. I respect his talent on the bike but he makes it impossible to like him. If he wants to be know as the fastest 250 rider then go out there and beat his rivals instead of taking out anybody he sees as a threat.
What happens if Deegan got hurt this week and didn't race SLC..if Davies wins SLC, wouldn't he win by 1 point? Doesn't a main event win give 26 points?
What a tremendous learning opportunity for Cole Davies. 1) Handle the lappers better and don't let Deegan catch you. 2) Don't leave the door open 3) If you do leave the door open, you gotta feel that and back out of it so he doesn't get pushed off the track 4) Learn to get that Eye of the Tiger and killer instinct. Lots of good comes from this for Davies.
