Kinda hate to chime in on the bash-a-thon.. but every race:
“Gave him the elbow grease!”

He also begins every race “Aghhh…”
"Elbow grease" always bugs me. It means hard work, extra effort. Not giving them an elbow.
He actually had a good one tonight. Paraphrasing, but when referring to Webb it was something like “the easy part is over, that was the talking, now he has to perform on track.” Harsh, but true.
When did he say that?
Notes from today: I didn’t watch RDL today so wasn’t too sure what some of the fastest options were around the track- was hoping for some analysis on this during the heats but didn’t get anything from the expert.
- That was a hell of a save for Lane Shaw for sure lol.
- They missed white flag by 3 seconds in heat 2. Seth starting to make a run, lost some time initially in the race- would have been nice to get some analysis as to why but nope.
Seth then blew his run in the second whoops attempting to jump. No mention of this, Ricky babbling on.
- Qualifying practice stated at least 4x
- Ricky’s analysis of whether or not Justin cooper being a teammate helps. “How could it not help Lee???” Um Ricky, it won’t help if he is in a battle for the win or podium and he has to yield the position (or not ride as aggressive) due to a teammate being in a championship fight.
- I like these 90 degree corners stated x100
- No analysis of the race in 250 lcq. Good opportunity to point out the sections they are doing different to the top guys.
- Hammaker gets a kick out of the first set of whoops every lap, few close ones. No mention.
- Hammaker first lap pass on the inside 90 was ballsy. Track watered, potentially slick- huge risk but pulls it off. No mention from Ricky. He’s got no idea.
- They go to Forkner and just yap about how well he is doing and his injury and blah blah blah; oh he won 5 or 6 rounds in 2019 I believe (no mention of him riding out of his limits and crashing in every qualifying practice* that year). How about analyse what he is doing and why he is 20 seconds behind. Not going on-on - off near finish, missing the triple, whoop speed. There are a Few mistakes each lap he needs to clean up. Is the bike holding him back?? How about some expert analysis?
- He was eventually able to analyse some variance in the 450 main with Chase getting that on to table, off, triple clean every lap vs everyone else messing it up. JT made a good comment about AP just being patient with Barcia, and it worked out.
He obviously didn’t realize his mic was hot. It was right before one of the earlier commercial breaks. Not sure if it was on every broadcast. Hey, at least he referenced vital!
We need a timestamp or a clip on that!

I'm finally just watching the race now but did I miss the part where we stopped calling the 250 classes "regional" and now they're called "divisional"??? Am I crazy? He just said it twice near the end of 250 heat 1 and right after.
You’re not crazy. They’ve changed the official term to division instead of regional and Futures is now called Next.
And to throw another wrench at you, it sounds like the term “lites” is coming back for the 250 class. I would downvote this post if I could.

I saw ML comment a few weeks ago about the division crap, something about Feld asking the media to now refer to it as divisions rather than regions. 250 is a division. 450 is a division. West and East are regions...
I did hear RC slip up last night when talking about RJ being the 250 west regional champion, then a few mumbling sentences later revert back to the division crap
All that said, RC used “coasts” just last week.
All the riders and industry folk can say they don’t respect Vital, but they sure do mention it. Which is it???
