I don't know Lucas Mirtl at all, and know little about him, but the little I've seen makes me think he's kind of nuts. Fits right in with Cooksey. I don't have a strong opinion on the matter - just the general impression I get from reading a few of his social media posts. So when I see this sort of post about "vindication" (my word, not his - it seems implied by the whole truth coming out thing), my inclination is to draw no inference whatsoever about any actual legal developments. Probably just an angry, desperate guy lashing out. But no point in speculating too much - we will see if he's vindicated when the evidence is presented in court.

Mirtl is SO unhinged, nobody even talks about the fraud/embezzlement/misappropriation anymore, it's mostly about his rants and unbelievably terrible handling of the whole situation.

Is anyone surprised they stayed with him? For one, The Coenans are trying to get to America to race. Firing him now would most likely put a wrench in that. Second, I wouldn’t expect anyone else to jump ship until this plays out in court. Not to mention if they did fire him and it ends up being a different story, it could lead to more litigation.
Maybe that’s the secret to getting away with stuff, just start talking crazy and people forget the last crazy thing you did…
