I hope their segment is on the fox and friends youtube. As much as I love the sport, and like the deegans, I don’t have cable, and I ain’t waking up at 5:30 am even if i had cable.

I AGREE I WATCHED THE SHOW FOR OVER AN HOUR THIS MORNING AND MISSED THE DEEGANS

I don’t know why anyone would hate on Hailie. She seems pretty cool and very well spoken!

Very cool. Two great athletes.

any person that makes it to the highest form of there chosen discipline is great.  is she an all time great in that sport, no, not yet, maybe never.  but to get to where she has you have to be great.

ease up.

You also have to have deep pockets with connections.

Let's be honest - most four-wheel racing is bred from wealth, not "talent" or "greatness."

RC had plenty of money behind him and he did not make it. Those 2 kids had clearly made it and what a great family as you all know the sacrifices it took to get them there.

That’s just it, she DIDN’T make it to the top level. She’s literally in the feeder series to Indycar, and she’s 4 seconds off…in the feeder series.

She never won a race at the BOTTOM of NASCAR, (The ARCA series) so she moved up and did terrible in trucks and Xfinity; not making it to the Cup level (the actual highest level of NASCAR).

Haiden…dude is a talent for sure.

skipped formula regional too after getting worked in her first race there. Monster is paying the way. a little easier on the eyes than RC was i guess.

Actually, RC was doing quite well. He was sort of a victim of circumstances when the sponsors bumped him out for Kurt Bush. So, it's kind of the opposite of what you said Wink

Just a little insider tidbit on our boy RC in Nascar.  He actually was progressing very well and could of had a bright future in that sport.  His problem was he was getting nauseous/sick in the car and his team couldn't help him get over that issue.

Good info. I wondered why he seemingly gave up when he lost that ride.

Nice exposure for motorsports imho. Hailie has a wonderful personality and Haiden, well we know how he rolls lol. Hailie is being pushed along based on some factors besides her ability for sure but so what? The whole thing will eventually run its course and I think she will land somewhere that her bright shiny attitude will serve her well. No need to be assholes about any of this Wink

None of this should be taken as insulting, it's just the way auto racing works. You get foot in the door with money and connections or a marketable story and if you develop and are successful you move up, if you aren't and the story stops attracting eyeballs then they move to the next story. There's not really a loretta lynn equivalent or privateers making the big show and earning their spot just based on results in the amateur ranks. Pay to play, fake it til you make it.

No, with the peasants who always come in a thread about the Deegan's with a negative spin.

Me and my brother Kevin were on TV once. We were eating BBQ at Gary Dales in south OKC. That place was the bomb back in the day. Best chicken in town.

Is that the one with smoked bologna? I’ve heard that’s really good.

Haiden Deegan has brought a lot of spirit and attention to MX. I personally like watching his sometimes unorthodox riding style, and desire to win.

4 seconds off in her first professional open wheel race from a guy who literally won in F2 and has years of open wheel experience lol… stop being weird and give her time.

I agree truck. However; She is one of the women that keeps the door open for others. There have been others of course but the young ones need someone to look up to in each generation. For that, I am thankful.

I also know she is a Deegan. She will always put in the work.

Again, she spent 5 years in stock cars and didn't win a race in a national series and wasn't even close in trucks and Xfinity hence the reason she departed from the team/series...all feeder series to the real series; Cup. But I am sure she just needs more seat time.

You win, she's fucking horrible and shouldn't even be allowed to be behind the wheel of a car.

Do you feel better now?

Would you like to post up some race results from Bum Fuck Texas Moto Track so we can see how great you are?

Something tells me you don't have the fucking balls for that, way easier to just run your mouth online to make yourself feel better I suppose.

Feel free to prove me wrong little fella..... Can you?  Will you?  Or are you fucking scared?

That makes complete sense, thanks for clarifying.  Folks who are too fucking scared to do anything in their own life are always the biggest shit talkers.

Maybe hit us up if you ever grow a set of balls and line up for a race yourself.

Jade seems super cool.  Mia Lovell too.

Hailie wrecked ppl to get her regional wins. She skipped a rung or two in open wheel (I get it, sponsor money), and she doesn't participate in online sim racing to my knowledge (the best driver in the world does religiously...what's the excuse??). She seems like a nice person and I hope she does well, but I don't think she's anywhere close to deserving the notoriety she has on merit vis a vis many other deserving female drivers. That's all. That's the only beef. Just a level set. I'll go back to my mom's basement now

She probably doesn't belong in a NXT car yet, but we'll see May 4 at Barber.

There has to be a corollary when a layperson DOES think someone is good or should be in a car or is super duper awesome at color analyst announcing or whatever. Should that also be based on results and personal credentials of the opinion holder? Asking for a friend.

I believe Hailie and Chase her fiancé both have sim rigs at their house in NC.
