Was that the worst mudder of all time? I was there, that was some gnarly racing 🤙🏻
Seville in 02 or 03, the one Darryl Hurley won.
Time travelling?
The Atlantis SX of 2047 was pretty biblical too.
I would say in SX yes. Don’t ever remember one so sticky where track workers were getting stuck and falling down on the live track.

I've seen a good few over the years and I'd say yes, that East Coast mud has taking the whole fucking cake. Foxborough will be in the History books.
There was a mudder next year?
The worst one of all time was Anaheim in the early 2000's, i forget the exact year. A San Francisco last year was just as bad as Foxborough!
Its a tough time of year in New England.
several Atlanta events in the old stadium were pretty bad.
take Georgia red clay and add copious amounts of February rain, and top it off with a bunch of motorcycles and no equipment capable of working the track.
I would put '83 up against last night
2005. I was there. You absolutely cannot tell WTF is happening out there. Had to watch a couple day later on TVto see how it all went down. It was really cold too.
'83 was real bad year for Foxborough too. In the old Sullivans stadium. I raced the 80 cc exhibition race during the break and we could barely navigate the track the mud was terrible for us. Managed to get my picture on the front page of the Boston Globe newspaper.
Sure seemed like the gnarliest mudder I have ever seen.
Made for a great show though....I watched the replay (never watch live anymore) and then rewatched the mains).
Nobody wants this week after week....but it's nice to throw everyone completely off their game once in a while.
Mud is a skill... as we saw last night, the "show ponies" struggled and the privateers shined.
Anaheim 05 was the mudder of all mudders
I don't get what everyone is pissed at. We thought that was great entertainment. We were laughing, yelling for privateers we never heard of leading, crazy crap is happening all over it was great to watch. Would I want it ever week? No but it was fun to watch.
One that stands out for me was Daytona in 06 or 07. I forget exact year, but I think Reed was out front and his bike got swallowed by the track and I think Windham won it.
Daytona 2008
Anaheim 2005
I don't think it's an absolute necessity to go to closed stadium if you go in some part of the country where it is at least suppose to be mildly warm. I don't think a mud race is particularly fun and exciting to watch, but like others have said they have been part of the sport forever. But going to open stadiums in the north east anytime before early may is kind of a dumb move.
I was in foxboro last year and I was there again this year as it is the closest supercross for me to attend. last year was rough with the temperature beeing close to the freezing point, but this year was even worst with temperature being around 37F and rain from the beginning to the end. I wouldn't like being a mechanic in those conditions.
Pit Row
I was at the 05 A1 mudfest, it was as bad as everyone says, but last night was pretty bad too. One difference that I remember is that it was pouring during the whole main making things worse every lap at A1.. I'd have to put last night right up there with Daytona 08 and 05 A1.
Here's a little RC at A1 for your viewing pleasure:
That World Supercross race in Seville Spain was probably the worst ever. Although San Diego’s “limegate” probably hurt riders more.
Yeah we were there too drive out from Missouri for it. It was pretty miserable but I agree those 3 were the worst we have seen.

Awesome!
Yup. I went to the SX race that year. Slop.
