I really hope they don’t shorten the mains. They likely will, but I hope they don’t. I understand shortening amount of laps back when we used to do that. But time is time. 20 min in mud is already going to drastically reduce the amount of laps raced.
I suppose in a full mudder the riders would be rolling everything.

Ya know, I look forward to the races every single week. I enjoy the podcasts and the videos and usually spend Saturdays watching RDL then the races.
I dont enjoy mud races. I understand it’s part of the sport and a must but I just don’t enjoy watching them much.
They will 100% knock down the whoops after qualifying is over.
I think 1-2 mud races per year aren't bad but the fun stops when they have to roll every single jump.
That could be the case by the time the night show rolls around. More rain coming and more track deterioration scheduled ahead.
Muddy MX is one thing...these narrow, jumpy SX tracks are no bueno.

How far down the standings do provisionals apply? The fast 40 is going to be dominated by B/C guys..
There may be a bunch of B and C practice guys in the night show. And some A group guys missing it.
The Bruns boys are trying hard to qualify. It'll be good to see where they stack up.
