It would be great to go to Calgary before they shut the track down. We go to Edmonton a lot but haven’t been to Calgary for years. Was at the Edmonton race a few years ago - knew some guys racing. Too bad the track was dreadful. Only 2 rounds in the West this year.

JA's contract is up. I don't think he's dumb enough to sabotage a ride somewhere else by giving the double bird to Kawasaki. Sounds like he's dealing with a family issue from the press release, should probably leave it at that.

I really hope everything he's going through turns out okay. Obviously has to be something big for him to sit out like this.
That’s what I thought at first but then the article on Vurb states he’s taking the rest of the season off to address ongoing health issues.
First it was the family emergency, now it’s ongoing health issues.
The reason for his absence changed from last weekend to now, that makes me feel like there’s more to this story.

This seems strangely coincidental...Sexton's possible signing and JA's sudden problems. What are the odds Sexton dumps KTM right after the SX series? Is this even possible with these contracts? I can't see it happening, but this is friggin kind of weird with JA all of a sudden deciding to exit the series. Oh, I don't buy the family or health BS either.

It's really not that nuanced, but maybe for some fans it is difficult to grasp the difference between having a reason he is not racing and wanting to know the exact details.
