Whatever McPhilly posted sounds correct.

Still trying to figure out who James said Uncle to.......the track, his bike, the roost....himself?

Some of these posts are just tough to read. I mean come on already. The guy just raced after 2 years off. He had a great 1st moto. It's all pure speculation on everybody's part what happened second moto but many of you guys are doing just that.

It's just amazing the shit people talk after one moto. Next week if he wins everybody will talk about how great he is and the shit will start on Dungey. I guess the saying is true-your only as good as your last race. Some of you guys on here just have no respect.

Dude, you really need to stfu. The beer is coming out.

So much speculation, so much negativity directed to one of the most highly accomplished riders in our sport. I think a lot of you guys have lost all perspective.

To many cry baby moments have surrounded JS, he has done great, but he needs to be more humble and show some heart!

Completely agree Level. It changes at every race.

One word of advice for everyone........Don't just be a fan of ONE particular rider......Be fan of the sport in general!

That's what i do....and I walk away with a smile on my face after every race! I was just glad to see it.

What do you expect from a bunch of people typing behind a keyboard instead of actually racing at the Top level.

We can judge a mans heart and commitment from here.

Just because we have never reached that level of talent does not mean we don't know our shit.

We know its not his wrist because he would tell us. And we would not say it was an excuse.

Dan........I'm not saying Larry is my favorite person on earth either , heck , I've never even met the guy. But I don't think "everything" that has happened to James is Larry's fault.

You are forgetting......JAMES signed the L&M contract.....he knew what he was getting into. he won't admit it , But I KNOW and I think most everyone else knows , Stewart does NOT like the out doors.

I think to be totally 100% honest here......L&M was taylor made just for guys like Reed and Stewart. It's an easy was to escape the out doors.

Also......mark my words here.......Stewart ( if he races these last 3 races ) will NOT race out doors ever again....I'll guarantee it! Weather he is with L&M or not. Stewart has since lost that drive to compete out doors.........to much work involved. And besides....he makes to much money is SX anyways.

What like at A1? I mean Dungey led most of the race on his AMA 450 rookie ride, and challenged on the last couple laps! You JS fans need to get out of that bubble and realise Dungey has improved since then, and that James went 24-0 because he didn't have a guy like RD to deal with, its JS 2005 all over again crying like a baby!

Stewart is the only human who ever challenged RC every race, race after race, and beat him sometimes. You obviously haven't seen him ride much. Even people who have been around racing for decades go out and watch James practice - they guy is just outrageously fast.

He was riding lousy today and he was able to go as fast as Dungey. That's not taking anything away from Dungey, he's terrific, and I'm actually a bigger fan of his than I am of James, but when James Stewart really turns it on and rides like he's capable of, there's nobody in the world that can ride like him.

Dungey has stepped up no doubt, JS needs to show some heart and continue racing the last Nationals to prove he was riding for the fans, but i wouldn't be suprised if some cover up non-sense about his wrist re-injured or something similar pops up! RD deserves so much respect, he comes across great, gives props to his competitors win or lose and never tries a cover up excuse that surrounds JS in every interview when he loses!

Your talking to me as if i haven't ever seen JS race or practice haha?
Villopoto lapped Cairoli in '08. So what? The MXDN isn't a race between riders, it's a race between teams. And RC destroyed Everts at the Des Nations many times.

Everts was a great rider, but he never raced RC for a title. Who knows how it would have worked out if he had?

No what's amazing is how everyone just figured that after 2 years he would come out and spank everyone...it shows little respect for those who have been consistantly working hard for results and I think that maybe now everyone can appreciate what Dungey has been doing.

Unfortunately for all of us SX only is a real deal. It started with MC then to Reed, KW, James, Hill etc...

Racerhead from yesterday said more riders are considering it also. It does suck!!!

But if teams are going to offer it, riders are going to take it. I can remember Hill saying how excited he was to not have to race this summer.

But it is hard to blame these riders when they can make the same amount of $$$ with half the risk of being injured. It just sucks for us.

If he was completely spent it was an absolutely brilliant move. I also have to give it up to him for setting fastest qualifying time albeit by just a tick.

Amazes me all the conjecture surrounding James pulling off and whether he'll be back. I am going to just wait for an announcement from James and/or the team before speculating BUT from my fan's perspective I sure hope he races the rest of the Nationals......especially since I'll be at Southwick and Pala.

Regarding SX only, I am waiting until we see people with MX only contracts. If I was a non American coming here without any SX experience I would definitely work to get that type of a contract.

Mostly I agree with Dunes. The pleasures of big money lifestyle make you soft, tasting it makes pain that much more sour. The outdoors IS Pain. JS didnt like the way it felt today. Then add to the fact that I guaran-damn-tee you LB was chirping in his ear to just "take it easy, you dont have to prove anything, just go out there and ride...blah blah blah". This teams sponsors dont pressure anyone, the M of L&M has plenty of coin and operates in the Red on JS7....the prior winning came from JS inital desire and heart and ability to deal with pain and prove to everyone hes the man. If he wants to win again he needs to go Rocky Balboa and go to freakin Russia and run up and down some snow covered mountains with a picture of Dungey on his mirror.

I don't think anyone should be defending Stewart b/c he hasn't raced and he is just coming back from an injury. If he had come out and raced the entire 2nd moto or pulled off the track half way through puking from overexertion I would take that excuse. Prime example is Kevin Windham when he came in to fill in for Milsapps and took 4th overall. The dude is 8 or 9 years older than Stewart, hadn't been riding and came back and gave it his all, BOTH MOTOS. He looked like he was about to die after the 2nd moto, but he didn't quit and didn't act like a total a-hole and completely blow off the media. That is someone who loves the sport and appreciates the fans and his sponsors. The crap Bubba pulled today is the actions of someone who is just a selfish, egotistical cry baby.

BEST POST of the day! And thats coming from a long time JS fan. He might need to hire a trainer or something and get a program put together if he wants to race motocross.

What on earth do you mean JS was the only human to challenge RC then? Are you saying he was challenged by no other but JS haha? Are you saying everytime RC was challenged and beat, there was an excuse to it? Be it mxon or not... watching SE use Ricky Carmichael/his bike for traction up a hill haha and lapping him wasn't challenging him, but making him look like a b rider! He did the same in 1999 too! But then i guess your pretty young and don't remember or don't want to remember the guy that you call the goat getting a big beatdown two years in a row?

MXON is a race between the riders... because they make up the team!

it was one race back after how long off. dude ran top 3 on the roughest track in the series and posted the fastest lap in practice.... people want to right him off and shit saying hw is over and done ........jesus christ people I knew most of you were stupid but not that stupid ....holy shit .Silly
Im going to take the other side of this and say fast laps dont mean shit one of my favorite riders Josh Grant has a lot of fast laps but obviously a couple of fast laps a champion or race winner does not make. and I was unimpressed with the way he quit today hopefully he had a good reason.
