I really liked his content previously but after all the BS surrounding this latest bit in my opinion he comes across as kind of a…  well kind of a DB

I’m over all things DB. Dude’s ego wrote a check his ass couldn’t cash. He got burned, it happens. 

The guy isn’t qualified to work at enterprise rent a car but he thought he should replace the greatest of all time or an experienced broadcaster with 40+ years of experience? Give me a break. 

I won’t disparage anyone’s qualifications. I just didn’t like how when Matthes asked him directly if he regretted hurting any of their mutual friends that were not involved with that video he said flat out nope.

Seems self serving IMHO.

Judging by the replies and likes of this thread it’s crazy to me how there’s always one side the majority seems to follow. One minute, legit EVERYONE is hating on the broadcast team; the next, DB is the bad guy who can’t handle it. It’s like, ‘Nah, I’ve read enough of this, it’s getting boring.’ Im not taking sides here but its funny how black and white opinions are on controversial topics and how quickly they switch.

When did so many folks flip to the other extreme.  Have no idea why Blair is suddenly a problem? Because he said he wouldn’t take the video back if given the chance? If you go all the way in like that it’s probably not worth the emotional weight to think about how you’d do it differently, especially after years of keeping it to himself.  He couldn’t change it anyways, why even ask that?  Would any of you change big difficult decisions you’ve made publicly in your life? Maybe, but what good would dwelling on that do?

Nice take, RC shouldn't be calling bingo at the local Salvation Army though. RC proves time and again speaking is something he has no absolutely no qualifications for. DB , Langston and a host of others kicked out of broadcasting our sport make RC look the bush league broadcaster he is. RC was the greatest rider of all time, that doesn't mean he should be a broadcaster though. Cosell never played pro sports at all, he was a lawyer by trade, and was perhaps the greatest broadcaster in boxing or football of all time.

In fairness I didn’t really flip. Initially I didn’t have a strong opinion either way then saw that DB video and thought it was over the top melodrama the sport didn’t need. 

I understand that others feel differently but it seems our society has lost the ability to respectfully disagree.

Sorry not a fan boy of any pro rider, no interest in it.  Now 125 riders that’s a story.  I know of a kid that went 1,1 at a aq 2 yrs ago.  1st yr on a 250f got a 10th at LL.  In 25 he’s all in on the 125 he’s gonna b really fast.  He should b doing 125 emx but I think it’s difficult for a American to get a ride.
