I don't recall if there have ever been official celebrity supercross endorsement deals, but if there have been, this must be the biggest... of a celebrity most here have probably never heard of... for a series most here will never see in person.
via gatedrop.com Official: Salman Khan joins Indian Supercross Racing League

Khan is one of Bollywood's biggest stars, with over 140 acting credits and nearly 65m IG followers.
Love the out-of-the-box thinking that Indian SX is bringing. Maybe this starts some type of trend. Maybe it amounts to nothing, but it's an interesting strategy.
Imagine if Chalamet signed on as an official SMX ambassador, or if Tom Cruise jumped up and down on a couch proudly proclaiming his love for Supercross... on second thought...
I get what you’re asking…& what you’re seeing…but…
Wait for it…
We will never top this legend.
Vanilla Ice, Matt LeBlanc, Brett Michaels, and Mark Paul Gosslaar come to mind. Not really endorsements, but celebrities that ride or used to ride. They've made guess appearances over the years.

Yeah all the B-list celebs. Not an insult, just kind of the reality of it. Was so-so on LeBlanc until I watched his show "Episodes" where he plays a sad caricatured version of himself. Great role and series.
I'm guessing Michaels was the only one that got paid for SX appearances, but even calling him a B-lister is lofty. Thankfully had forgotten about him.
To my knowledge, Khan is A-list for Bollywood. One of its biggest stars
That doesn't appear to be a Supercross endorsement.
For SX, I'd probably say, maybe, Pink?
to this day i can still hear ralph screaming "ROCK HARD RIDE HARD"

I find it hard to believe that 333 million real individual people follow these guys on Instagram. The population of the entire United States is supposed to be around 350 million people.
Keanu Reeves owns his own motorcycle company, Arch, and is pretty vocal about his love for racing, being at many of the road races. Brad Pitt shows up at the west coast road racing rounds, Dax Shepard held Josh Herrin's umbrella at Laguna a few years back. I met Tony Hawk right before he did a 2up ride with Chris Ulrich at Road Atlanta and I've seen Orlando Bloom floating around a couple road races before. I know these are all road racing examples but there's plenty of A list celebrities into the industry in some form or another. It seems to me that's their escape from the famous life so it's probably not something they are taking outside of the pits. It's done nothing to grow the sport what so ever. But it is cool af to see.
Wasn't there a thread for this very topic not so long ago, it mentioned Sheryl Crow and Lionel Lovett amongst others?

There was one about celebrity dirt bike riders.
This one is about celebrity SX public endorsers like Salman Khan.
Yes, and the US is very, very small compared to the combined rest of the globe.

Steve McQueen is the GOAT of Celebrity Endorsement for Moto
I love Steve McQueen but he died almost fifty years ago and I bet if you polled people on the streets 99 out of 100 wouldn'tt have ever heard of Bullitt or The Sand Pebbles.
P!nk has got to be the biggest star to be so explicitly involved in MX. She live-tweeted an insult when Alessi took Tickle out, which was pretty awesome. Biggest star overall? I remember Jordan hanging out in Stew's pits when he was still on 125s.
I just saw case of a list of 10 most iconic movies set in SF, and Bullitt didn’t even make the cut. I don’t think it’s even largely in public consciousness anymore.
Even when I said Pink, I was thinking: "Do folks still remember her? Do young people know her? It's been awhile since she was at peak of fame." And she wasn't even born yet when any Mcqueen movie was released.

Instagram is global, the United Sates is only 4% of the world's population, you should get out there and meet some new people!
