I don't agree but DB got a taste of the corporate world. It's sucks and it's obviously not for everyone. Slimeball behaviour is rewarded and is the norm. It's happens everywhere. Not alot of people can bend over and just accept it. Unfortunately not much will happen to Diffey and RC. They'll continue to get alot of work from above. Other ass kissers in the industry will continue to suck up to the corporates. To me its pretty clear who these players are? Who won't have a strong opinion on it or comment on it at all? Who gets all the access, who's been around a long time, who gets all the opportunities etc. It's all very political.
Regarding his video many on here saying DB shot himself in the foot and strategically/professionally for his future commentating career? I'm pretty sure he's thought long and hard about that already which is why he made the video. He's accepted it and he's moving on. Hopefully it works out for him.

As someone who was recently shafted on a promotion due to corporate politics, I get how shitty it feels but is part of corporate nature. However, regardless of how DB felt, it doesn’t change the fact that RC (and Duffy) were absolutely scum to him. I had seen that video before but rewatching it now really shows how RC felt threatened by DB…

DB was giving the fans what they wanted. He's in the trenches more, also being with the amateur side, so he gathered info from everyone he talked to, and gave the people what they wanted.
The problem, is that's not what NBC wanted. They wanted more broad, less core moto. That was probably the biggest issue, DB giving the core fans what they wanted, NBC not liking it.

Honestly, RC talks like someone who hasn't read many books, this past weekend he just stopped mid-sentence like 4 times because he couldn't figure out what word came next. Butchers sayings, names, and just mixes up words. I don't think that's who you want if you want the sport to grow... Jesus... just listen to his Title 24 or whatever podcast.... a laughing stock.
Commentating a race shouldn't be a space to recall the "good ole days" or suck each-other off, most of the people listening don't even know who they are... if the sport wants to be taken seriously, as a professional sport, with real money... the very few spots we do get on TV need to be on point.
