Only $10 for all 2026 SX, MX, and SMX series.
Who?
Buddy, you’re gonna have to summarize, I’m not watching all that bullshit.
In short $1.5 million to put on a supercross round, which is covered by the series sponsors, so Feld profits ticket sales of $5 Million, and only pays riders 3% of profit.
Just my quick math could debunk that.
$200,000 per day stadium rental X 5 days
Cost to build track (dirt, trucks, machines, diesel)
Staff for press day and race
Prize money
Staff travel, hotels, food
Even if then got 50k attendance at $50 = 2.5m
I bet they could profit $500k per night if lucky after TV deals and food/bev. I agree they aren’t doing it for free or for fun. But no way they are walking away with crazy money.

they furloughed everybody on day 1 of the chyna virus. never 4get.
Yep, they at best gross $5,000,000 per round on average (tshirt/merch sales, ticket sales, sponsors, and possibly some revenue share of concessions and parking).
No way in hell do they net $5,000,000 per round.
Huh
I am in no way saying this is a true number from Cooksey but what I will say is not one person has mentioned that there is a TV deal now. Those numbers haven't been disclosed.
That has to factor in now as this is the first time the sport has seen revenue from any TV package.
1+1=2
Edit to add- Cooksey math 1+1=357
Did he specify if it was gross or net profit?
soon the fbi will not be able to devote resources to hassling poor cooksey.
SMX will have to start providing their own jack booted thugs and black helicopters to monitor the free press trying to gain accesss in pursuit of the truth
That will obviously cut into the profits of feld and mx sports.
Soon there may be a "security surcharge"
Insiders will jockingly refer to it as the "cooksey tax"
$50 per ticket. Have you been to an sx lately? Sure, sone tickets are that low, others might higher.
Are people still seriously watching this dbag? Stop giving him clicks
After all the fee's and taxes an average net of $50 a ticket seems plausible. Might even be lower.
Good deduction.
Where does series sponsorship money go?
Not a Crooksie fan, but his math is not far off, BIG money paid by the sponsors of the series, merch sales, TV deal, now online betting.
You think Peacok is paying much of anything for the broadcast rights? I bet it's breakeven for them just paying production/host costs.
Why do people entertain this guy?
Pit Row
Cooksey + Meth = Feld Profits. However much they make they deserve it, just like the riders who make millions.
TV deal might be "please put us on TV" and peacock throws in some of the SMX cash. Who were they bidding against? OLN? Mav?
They surely aren't doing it for free but it's not at all surprising to me that cooksey wouldn't know the difference between gross and net. I think people would be shocked at what expenses are every week. Go price a load of dirt and the equipment and operator to push it around for a week and that's before you fly them in, put them up, feed them, and then do the same for dozens of other people.
Why is this in the Dumbgeon? It's worth the discussion, is Feld only paying 3% to the riders?
Also question why it went to the dungeon? I don’t listen to Cooks, but was interested in hearing the options of people and of course the usual people saying DC and Feld do this just for the love of the sport and make nothing
