You know, it sucks patagonia is gone..... but why stay in Argentina if that's the case.  Do two lommel's or something.  Pick another world class venue, like a glen helen.

Odd to travel all that way for a junk racetrack.

Atleast argentina has a good crowd and the atmosphere is electric now the other overseas races are just to fill up the 2 crooks pockets.

Entry list and timetable are updated. Lars van Berkel is in again, just like the previous years.

Like in previous years, they're incorporating a round of the Latin American MX championship which will be why there's almost a full MXGP gate.

Indonesia has a massive crowd aswell. Turkey and China are piss-poor.

It was closed. I am attending this round, so if you guys want to see anything in particular, let me know and I will try my best to deliver (keep in mind I don't have access to the pits).

This is a clip from a month ago, right after they finished building it (it was started from scratch back in december). Rain is forecasted... might be interesting. I haven't seen it in person, but the uphill triple looks gnarly.

I think the layout is cool. The scenery is SHIT... but it is what it is. With all the boards, fans and riders it won't be too bad.

Track looks like a dime a dozen, like any of these manmade tracks. Let's just hope the racing will be good, but with all the predicted rain, I fear it will be a snooze fest.

I know there’s no Americans riding the GP classes this year but what about the European Championship? Anyone coming over?

That's not my problem if they're paying or not. Neither is it yours. Or do you prefer 50 people like in Turkey instead of real enthousiastic fans?

It's just a shame that most people barely know what they're looking at....but I have to agree it looks better

There should be a law that says any new GP track has at least 2 years' worth of grass on it, cambers and a hill. Sick of these flat copy-and-paste car park sand tracks.

That track will look great when fully furnished. Some elevation, big jumps, fast sections. Pretty open. Great for viewing, can see pretty much all of the track. Missing some grass in between.

If the material holds up for rain is a diffent question.

It looks like many track in US if you would remove all the trees and grass areas (that will be there to text year).

Not easy trading away from previous, that was a class above both regular MXGP and US tracks, but also not so accessible for visitors.

The crowd at the friggin awesome Indonesia track was ok if I recall, mainly they were just in one section.  But man that track was so good (the one with the huge hills, sandy soil and massive booters).  That was one of the best tracks in the whole series IMO.

Crowds were better I think at the track built at the airport (where they raced back to back last year), but the track was pretty vanilla.

Now we know what we'd get if Miller Motorsports Park and Pala got drunk and spent the night together.

The Si Racha track in Thailand ten-ish years ago was a really good track I thought. Not the one RV won at, but the one after that.

From Infront:

“A late practice crash for the teenage Belgian (Lucas Coenen) has seen him come to Argentina hoping that he has completely recovered. The winner of more MX2 GPs than anybody last season could surely be a threat to become the first ever teenage MXGP Champion in the current format, but the question of his current condition might only be answered in Saturday’s Time Practice or Qualifying Race”.

Remember  Tommy Searles WP50 forks that were utterly destroyed in the prang over that huge jump there ? I think  Gautier Paulin also came a massive cropper over it , too. Huge Air, Big Bursts of Wind, I think it was.

That was  a great track: I was there - not like that 'fair ground race' track that Villo got the win in the Qualifier, and a Moto, for the OA. Now that one, Truly deserved the ridicule that is so often applied to near on any MXGP track, by a few here.

We'll see how this one goes, shall we?

It's general , vegetation deleted , raw dirt / sand, whatever the f**k it's geology is, Looks bleak, as any new built track does, though, it's Not on a "Parking Lot" flat surface as some seem to want to label it as. I just hope it is a permanent facility, that can  'mature' over the years. As did the previous track, from 2015, to 2024.

Si Racha was indeed a beauty! I was thinking the other day about it and just a couple days later it got brought up in here. Great track and also one off the only races where they held that weird superfinal!

Below is the big jump Paulin did on regular laps! Massive!

Just finished the MXGP Vital podcast.

Im with this one really with Lewis, I cant see a way Gajser is losing this one if he used his head.

He should have pushed more last year as his own words, but that should not be the case this upcoming season.

Herlings is out of this one and will be most likely again has a slow start off the first races back so he doesnt have to worry about him.

For the future it could be a last season in 26, but reading between the lines it also could make that statement out to looking for a new ride in 26 and beyond. Yamaha and Triumpf with both Monster backing should be the first ones in line to throw a good paycheck to the 84 i guess….

Febvre should been the main force to Gajser as he have proved in the past, but has also have a hard time staying injury free! People talk allot about  Herlings and getting injured, but the last season Febvre has stayed healthy and made all round we need to go back to the 2021 season!!!

The same goes with Renaux, to stay healthy for the season is a big ask. Also his win record in MXGP is not that big, so for him to win the title will be a big ask…

Lets hope everybody stays healthy and have some great racing coming up!

It was built on a pretty big property that was a starting point for a water park and a shopping mall, called Infinito Open. I sure hope they arrange things in a way to keep the track... but time will tell. And it would be awesome if it is open to riders, as last year's track was only used for the MXGP, and closed year round.

Odd to travel all that way for a junk racetrack.

Because someone would pay.
