An impressively large area for parking. Any pictures of the track?
Geezuz, poor bastards on the GP circuit. The amount of logistics, travel and time in airports must be a righteous ball ache.
Unless there was a legit reason to go from the last track to this, what a joke. More and more of these Lego tracks in the circuit is what nobody is asking for
The downgrade from Patagonia to... that.

The Land was sold for development - the sad story of so many venues, World Wide.
We'll see what it's really like as a track in a few days.
Track builds, in progress, are never 'pretty', especially if it's not in a green, and 'in and around' a forested area, with long established facilities.
I can't work out if it might be a bit of a sand track - I tend to get fooled by light coloured earth a bit too often, thinking it's sand. But if it is, Romain Febvre this last weekend went 1:1 at Lierop, a , shall we say, somewhat sandy track.
Is Lucas Coenen injured?
What the reason built new one race track?
Yes.
Reports say he broke both Wrists / Arms in a practice session
"incomplete Fracture of the Radius near both the wrists. No surgery required"
That's about all I could find on it.
It does look like sand but it's hard to say. If it is and they plant some grass around the whole place then it might look quite appealing in a year's time. Or it could be absolutely crap 🙂
Looks like a huge fairgrounds race.
With Herlings and Prado out MXGP will be a snoozer.
MX2 should be good though.
Reports or maybe just a rumour? I’m quite surprised that there’s no official statement about this yet. It seemed to happened a week ago but just silence.
Lmao
I hope that Gajser, Febvre, Jonass, Renaux, Fernandez, Herlings put on a good show throughout the season!
For the 1,000,000th time THE LAST TRACK IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE DUE TO PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT.
And Coenen.
Definitely a lot of potential GP winners, but I don't think any are at Gajsers level for the whole season. Maybe Febvre. Maybe Reneaux
The race isn't at Patagonia? What the Heck? Was a great track. Hopefully this new track pans out , as it has some big shoes to fill.
Pit Row
What a complete joke of a "track".
The series is a joke, hope the good guys keep coming over here to make the racing here better.
Tim Gajser and Romain Febvre will probably be the big players in the 450, Maxime Renaux and Lucas Coenen (even though he is injured) might have a word to say though.
Kay De Wolf has to win this title but Simon Laengenfelder, Andrea Adamo, Mathis Valin and Sacha Coenen could contend for the title. Keeping an eye on Rick Elzinga, Karlis Reisulis, Camden Mc Lellan, Ferruccio Zanchi, Thibault Benistant, Valerio Lata and Cas Valk as well. Shame that Janis Reisulis isn't racing mx2, even though he didn't race for 10 month, he is good enough for this series and might even be faster than Karlis already.
In MX2 category, you can add Rossi and Farres...
Rossi is coming off an injury, I don't think he is quite ready yet.
You were talking about the entire season in your post (not the first race), if i'm not wrong.
That's why I tought about Rossi and Farres.
30 plus hours travelling to that place…
Great show as always Lewis, really looking foreword to you and Adam all season.
What’s up with this switch by Tim Gajser to KYB, that should be interesting.
BTW what a weekend with GNCC, MotoGP, MXGP, and Supercross… good times!
I've got Mathis Valin taking the 250 title
Of course there was a legit reason. Build houses and make more money!!! I’m sure someone is to blame. How could someone let such an awesome and beautiful place of land and motocross history fall to that? Like seriously. Not one super rich person involved that would be willing to stop the “development?”
Wat????😲
Lucas Coenen did crashed during practice last week, both arms fractured and surgery was done immediately. It seems like the injury’s not that bad as it seems his gonna try to ride in Argentina on Saturday. If the pain is too much he’ll probably not race.
