Will Pauls do better than Seweer this year? Didn’t Seweer complain a lot about the Kawi Pauls is now on?
No
Who is Adrien Malaval? Never heard of him but he beat some MXGP regulars.
Man Valin is impressing the heck out of me. I knew he'd be good but the way he's been riding lately he could be a title threat

Won race 2 after passing Janis Reisulis and Thibault Benistant in 2 laps. He is on point to start this season for sure.
He made a huge step forward and was already really good last year in EMX250. Wondering how he will do in the sand next week in Lierop.
12th overall for Herbreteau in Elite MX1 on a Stark Varg.
Was 8th at Lacapelle-Marival in 2023 on KTM so decent start for him on the new bike.
And 11th for Tom Guyon for his 1st 450 race ever, after a winter with almost no riding.
Valin won't ride in Lierop next sunday. He will race in France (Sommieres International).
He rode a few races in canadian national championship (2024). The goal is to do the whole season in 2025 with team Yamaha Deschambault.
The dude must be filthy rich. He seems to race all over the world even though he seems to have less than stellar results.
Where have you seen that "he races all over the world"? ...
He’s done MXGP, Canadian nationals, AMA nationals, the Indian Supercross Racing League, ADAC SX (Germany), French MX (his home country), King of Herning (Denmark). Seems to be very well traveled to me, does it not to you?
Oh, he also just did Lexin Moto Hong Kong supercross race in November.
Bummer!
It doesn’t mean that he is rich! He goes where he can make some money, India, Germany, Denmark, HongKong are paying decent money for guys like him to make a living when you’re doing good.
He had a great ride today, seems like he improved from last year. He was on par with Desprey and he is no slouch in France, beating some top10 mxgp guys too.
I wasn’t knocking him. I was just saying he seems to be very well traveled. MX Addict asked where I’ve seen that he races all over the world… and I showed him a few examples.
No Aranda?
Pit Row
that kawi looked fast as well
Nope, got tired of it. After SX tour and ADAC SX he's going to Brasil for MX, SX and AX!

Dommage. He looked great and was flying last year.
But, he's got to do what's best for him.
"Less than stellar results"... "must be rich"...
Wasn't knocking him?
Come on...
So does a lot of french riders since the nineties...
Nothing to do with the fact to be rich or not.
I'm not sure Lierop would have been the best warm-up race (deep sand like nowhere else) before starting the 2025 MXGP season...
Full results of the week-end!

Oops, I forgot to ID this as the Italian International, at Montevarchi this weekend, Not La Capelle in France - sorry !
https://youtu.be/Gr4RSKIfbxo
Looks like they've got some big (permanent?) stands at that facility.
Note, the captions are really well done with this one, all things considered. Ain't technology wuunerful!
offroadproracing on YouTube is a good source of , largely, , but more than, Italian racing.
Rode there in an Italian championship vintage race in 2008 I think. Permanent grandstand, start line shade, permanent clubhouse and restaurant.
Moto done properly in the community by a well organized club.
I sucked at the races but the party was fine 😁.
Did Gajser crash or get a bad start in race 1 Italy, or did Coenen beat him straight up?
Last year was a well organised event at Lierop and they have a good lineup, but i think you have a fair point. I don't think there is much use in doing Lierop when there's only 1 sand GP untill june (and the one at Riola in April is quite different from Lierop as well).
Have a squizz at the video - well, for you, CPR , just as you see 'Large' having a prang, the commentator says that Tiga had a prang, that they didn't catch on camera in that 1st Moto.
Lucas - 'Large' - hopefully, will work through this 'prang' thing he's got going - well, it's been going for a few years now. He's young, I trust he'll get a bit past it all, and I really hope he doesn't axe himself before that.
As for the start in that Moto for both - well, they 'clashed' as they say, in one of the early corners, luckily, without coming a cropper.
