He didn’t choke. He always moves over for Webb. Same thing in the Honda days. He doesn’t want to win when Webb is around. He actually moved over and waited for Webb. SMH

It's not mental. It's physical. They are direct opposite in muscle fiber composition. Kenny fast twitch, sprinter. Webb slow twitch takes time to get going but can go forever. When Kenny has burnt through his depo it's very difficult to maintain intensity. It's like when adrenaline starts to wear off but much more hidden. 

The older you get, the more visible it gets. I'm fast twitch myself. Even if I from a mental perspective can keep going in duration sports, physically I cant. 

Elite Skiers, runners has had this figured out for a long time. Dont even bother going elite if you don't have the genes. Today you can test for it early in carreer and a lot of sports do that. 

So it's not really fair to say it's mental for Kenny.

Kenny rode great, it’s a tough track to defend position on, especially against Webb. He got 2nd, pretty good night for him IMO

Kenny choking was when he completely gave up the inside and then got dropped by 10 seconds in the last two laps. This is Kenny fighting through the end and a Webb that is just a tiny bit better and more efficient specially through corners. I think what he is doing on that bike so far is amazing and I couldn't be more proud as a fan.

Also I'm kinda sick of people calling Webb slow and only acknowledging his "mental toughness", dude is a freaking animal on a SX track. He has been in the title fight constantly since 2019 (except for 2022 when he was really just off most races) and not just by being a slow consistent rider lmao.
