The lappers are not deciding anything. The track is just like it's supposed to. Look at the photo. Kenny missed the rut he wanted by 3 inches and it sent him into the other rider. Now these dumb fucks won't see it like that but that's on them.
Instead they come here and complain about changing rules and black flagging riders.
5 or 6 of the riders in the very back were running 5 seconds per lap off the pace of the leaders.
The 450 Main Event should be exclusive to top, elite level riders in the sport. They shouldn't have to be put in a position to thread the needle through lapped riders that are going so much slower.
If people won't watch riders in a hypothetical 'B main", why is throwing those same riders in with the best in the world any better????
So you bring up Friese for no reason then go directly to another thread and say this...
...but WTF does this have to do with Friese? Good grief.
Explain yourself, hypocrite!

Two mains would make sense if time was not an issue. Anything broadcast on a major network like Peacock is a time and money issue.
Only way I see it work is do away with LCQ and make that a short B main.
If nothing else, 2nd time you’re lapped you should be pulled off the track
Anderson in press conference, "Kenny literally did nothing wrong"
I see I'm still spooling you up after all these years little man. Your seething hatred of me flows so freely...but for some reason you just can't seem to stop reading my posts. I think you secretly love me.
Is it time for you to send me another homophobic, unhinged tirade via PM again?
So how does that work in your brittle brain? Say one thing and do another.
Maybe he considers it a racing incident like some of us? Did he throw the lapper under the bus?
He said when he gets lapped he tries to get out of the way and implied that the lappers last night did not try at all.
I am not saying the lappers should not have pulled over Bro. They didn't and Kenny sent it into them. His choice.
To say they didn't hold their line and the crash was their fault just no.
Championship level riders shouldn't have to choose to slow down because lapped riders are in their way.
The 450 SX Main Event should be elite talent only.
LCQs are great because there is something on the line. 4 go to the main and everyone else goes home. B main would be an exhibition. Nobody is going to get blown up in the last corner over 4th place in the B main.
Racers have tunnel vision on their racing lines that's why they miss seeing red cross flag as well as blue flags. It's easy to see a blue flag from the stands, or at home on you're couch. But these guys are ALL racing . . . racing for 1st place as well as 20th place! They are focused on their lines. Most don't see their own pit board let alone a blue flag on the opposite side of the track for a split second while flying a triple or getting blasted with sand in the goggles!
Yeah, there's different levels of racers. That's not going to change if there's Main A or Main B. There will always be a slower group that the faster racers have to contended with. Lappers are just another obstacle on the track. Kenny rolled the dice between two lappers, and it came up snake eyes on his risky attempt - That's the nature of racing supercross!
It's easy to criticize a lapped racer for not moving over for the leaders, but these racers do not have spotters, no outside communication other that a pit board, nor eyes in the back of their helmet racing on a tight indoor track. All these racers have skin-in-the-game and are taking tremendous risks for every finishing position. Every point counts!
I'm just posting a qualified person's opinion.
I agree.
Everyone likes the sports privateers.
But these guys are gassed by the time the leaders come around to lap them.
Last night was bad.
But we see lappers flailing towards the end of mains, race after race.
And many are literally just rolling around until the checkered flag waves.
What Webb, and Anderson said in the press conference was right on the money.
Blue flags should be looked upon with a helluva lot more seriousness than they are.
Laying blame last night is pointless.
But Kenny, as a full time front runner, got screwed by guys fighting just to finish, not for a possible win, or title.
Even in Kenny's heart he knows he probably pushed too hard in the sketchiest section of the track through 3 lappers. You can be upset about the results but he took the risk and it didn't work out. Waiting for another section feels like giving up, going for it has a consequence.
I gotta say there was one shot in the broadcast before the whoop section where I think Kenny and Coop were coming up on 5 guys all within a second of each other and I was thinking that was toughest lapping situation I can remember. Then the crash happened in the sand.
Pit Row
What Coop said in the press conference was spot on. There needs to be penalties for ignoring blue flags. This is the only motorsport in the world where this is deemed as ok behavior from backmarkers. In F1 if you block the racing line and don't move over you get a penalty. And on top of that, they have the 107% rule so everyone on the track is at least pretty close to the pole time. In my opinion, this would be a good rule to look into for SX
Go by qualifying time. Top 10-12 immune to blackflagg. If anyone else get more than 40-50sec behind leaders they get dropped. Drop time deadline decided per track based on predefined variables.
Problem with black flagg when they get lapped is, when it comes out and dropping riders it's to late.
No A/B main, but there needs to be more strict language and penalties for ignoring blue flags.
Having said that... I'm a big Ken Roczen fan, but I really don't think he should have forced the issue in the sand. I was yelling at the lappers leading up to that section with a lot of "get the fuck out of the way!"... As soon as they hit the sand though I just assumed Ken would carefully navigate through then slice through those guys after... Nope, and he paid for it. Super bummed on that.
Think a 1000 usd penalty unless you actively try to stay out of the way would be enough to make the privaters pay attention. Even friese. Maybe last gate pick also next race or something if you make it to night event.
Unfortunately, there's only 10-12 of those guys. Who wants to pay $130 a ticket to watch a 10 man Main or be there all night so they can dumb down the classes. Not me. I'd rather see these guys use their craft to get through. It's Supercross just like Sexton said.
Bring back GoPros damnit
F1 does a great job of policing lappers by virtue of rules enforcement and self-management within the driver pool -ANY driver who F’s up and gets in the racing line or impedes the faster lapping driver gets an ear-full and they are fined etc etc. It’s about respecting the leaders and knowing you are NOT in the race. It is 2025 FFS AMA needs to wake up and adopt a proper policy. Amateur hour.
But then the winner of the 250 class is older than Ken Roczen.
that isn’t great.
Do you personally know that any of those privateers are gassed by the time they get lapped? Have you asked them? I know one of the riders involved personally, and I have firsthand knowledge of his fitness level. Dude ain't gassed halfway through a main, I promise you that. What I saw was a gaggle of riders entering the sand section. With ruts like those you don't really get to pick where you're going. You hold the line you're in, and that's what I saw them doing. Kenny knows better than to send it like he did. Coming out of a corner into the sand section with a wall of bikes in front of him he'd have been better to check up for an instant.
Hey “Bro” I’m not sure what point you’re trying to make Bro, can you clarify what you’re trying to say ?
And I agreed with it. Whats your point?
Maybe read again, we can't hold your hand forever. I don't have faith that you will realize that you didn't agree with it, though, lol.
