AX UK round 3
4th for Brunell, 8th for Wade, we'll see if they can do any better for round 4 tonight.
Dean Wilson is running away with it, curious to see how he'll fare when the international riders come back.
Decent night for Stark boys:
3rd for Brunell in AX UK (behind Mewse and Searle, looks like Wilson got docked?),
Edit: Wilson won, got disqualified for jumping under yellow flag, then reinstated after appeal
4th for Karlsson in Superenduro (3rd in superpole, 2nd, 6th and 5th in the races). Eddie was level on points but ranked ahead of Walker (who snatched the superpole from Bolt). 3 wins for Bolt as usual.
Karlson is an animal I don’t know how he doesn’t win more? Is Taddy out?

Interesting bit on Enduro21:
"note the FIM have relaxed their restrictions on the Varg slightly with each round and they again took some weight off the bikes this weekend"
FIM can decide to change balancing rules at any time and it's not directly correlated to position, points, times or anything.
Turns out they're at version 3 of the "FIM equivalence of technologies - balance of performances".
V3 is minimum weight 117 kg (stock road legal is 120 kg) and no restriction on power anymore while restrictions on torque are still "TBA at a later stage".

Hey @Zerofear66 and @Last2Stroke, look what happened one year later 😉
Jorge Zaragoza is probably Stark fastest rider this year, can't wait to see him back in AX UK against Deano, Soubeyras, Mewse and Searle.
You can count on Beagle to keep the echo chamber alive.
The bubble has burst, and this thread is living proof.
They couldn't auction Energica off at $4.5 million, nobody wanted it. Eicher paid $50 million for a 10% stake of Stark. Too bad they're not public, I'd be buying puts for days.
Not at all, a lot of us check this thread regularly because it's an easy way to keep up on Stark's progress in racing. I don't comment in it much anymore, mainly because a few useless dumbasses made it almost impossible to keep from getting into a pages long argument, but that doesn't mean people aren't following along.
Are you implying the Vargs are not selling?
The bubble has burst? Nah - the fever has broke.
How do you determine gate pick for this race? Seems like the guy on the left side has a huge advantage.
I really can’t wait until they use the new battery pack from the ex in the mx bike. When do we think that might happen? Hard to tell when stark doesn’t have model years. I finally saw one in person at a dealer here in Houston and I want one.
Scam?

Haha the hate is pretty strong
You know, it's the most fun mx bike I've had. I have more fun on it than on my CRF.
Pit Row
I'd say I saw 6-7 Vargs at River Valley yesterday, open practice day.
I let someone get their first laps on mine and he came back w/ the standard reaction "Oh my god, I want one".
How many Triumphs did you see?
We do qualifying runs to determine gate pick and reduce the field down to 32 riders. I qualified 2nd if I remember right so I had lane choice all the way through. There’s almost always one lane with an advantage unfortunately but when you’re dealing with natural terrain that’s just how it goes, it was possible to win from both lanes this time though.
The guys at AX UK really do run a slick show.
Brunell put the Varg on the podium but Deano and Mewse are clearly a cut above the rest, at least in the "Brits only" rounds.
Over at FIM Superenduro that was probably Karlsson worst round with 9th, 8th and 5th for 8th overall. 5th in the world championship.
Hicks won the X class race in AMA Arenacross in front of Bogle. Interestingly they had Pat Evans, FMX specialist and Xgames gold medalist trying his hand at AX. Not too bad to beat Hicks to the podium in Saturday first main.

Sorry if this has already been put up, but i saw this in the Alta / Stark / E site :
https://bulbaracing.myshopify.com/products/stark-varg-electronic-clutch
Quite pricey - well, I find a a lot of European products have high Euro prices (it's more the exchange rate numbers deliver a bit of a shock - but I'm Absolutely sure most of my mates with Vargs will snaffle these up). And Yes, I know it will be a damned sight more involved than 'just' a lever and some wiring.
I have always wanted a 'clutch' of sorts with an E bike - it's just a personal preference - and , as a side note, I survived a few years of a Rekluse Clutch on my 500, Without any manual clutch at all - later versions, I was able to get back to having 2 levers.
Seems to me, if this set up does work like a Clutch, that Stark should have something of their own available, as stock.
David Herbreteau finished 12th in France MX Elite 1st round, that was a 30 min race (25 min + 2 laps).
On the other side of the Pyrenees, Eddie Karlsson finished 4th in Saturday Bassella xtreme final won by Josep Garcia.
Then across the ocean Rob Pinney ranked 106th overall (top 30%) in GNCC morning race completing 3 laps in 2h37min.
Herbreteau is a cool dude, in a couple of months he rode CR500, TF250 and now the Varg.
He's 8th in France Elite MX championship after the first round
I would buy the clutch because it looks super trick and solid. Can they anodize it?
Pinney rode 3 laps, 2h37min, total 36 miles of GNCC complete mudfest.
That's the absolute limit for the range with the Stark Varg MX (in these conditions and terrain, at his speed), he was riding 25 hp 20% regen, battery died on him a few yards from the finish line, pushed it to finish, still good enough for top30% anyway. He rides without the phone, he was so very close to perfection in his battery management.
Hopefully he will get his Varg EX soon enough to race it in some other rounds and properly test how much more range he can get out of it. He also plans to do some battery swaps depending on the race.
I am waiting in line for the new EX with your mom.
Everyone wants a piece of Michael Hicks!
Next week he'll be racing at Daytona
and tomorrow he's racing in Manchester, taking on Deano, Soubeyras, Mewse and others!
Well, Hicks didn't disappoint for his first race in AX UK.
3rd and 1st in his heats, he finished 2nd in the main, just 4s behind Deano. Ramette completed the podium, Escoffier 4th, Mewse 5th, Soubeyras 6th. Stark regulars were outclassed by Hicks, Brunell 8th, Wade 9th, Irsuti DNF.
AX UK final championship standings: 1. Wilson, 2. Mewse, 3. Brunell. The series goes on as AXworldtour 3rd and last round at Abu Dabhi on July 5th.
