The way it twisted towards the bike (left to right) makes me think mcl or lcl.

Definitely a bummer.

I'd guess the PCL. Hopefully no surgery required.

One of the vitalmedics on here diagnosed my bucket-handle meniscus tear perfectly after describing a plant and twist motion. His sure looked like a plant and twist. Really hoping he's good.

I have much experience with knee issues, I can confidently say that the first things he needs are pain killers and a shower.

Some can I guess but every time I tried it was that instant VERY sharp pain. I also got the MCL. It was a good 4-5 days before that pain was low enough to even think about it.

Hopefully whatever it is he can race through it. I did an ACL and miniscus damage.  I could walk with it and actually spent almost a month on my spin bike before my surgery.   He is lucky it was a Triple Crown and didn’t lose the full 25pts.

Just like Webb in 2020 in Arlington. Fans will say all the time, "Webb would have 3 sx titles if he didn't DNF they race." And you remind them he didn't DNF, he finished 12th

I had a complete tear with damage to the other ligaments and I was walking all around the pits. I was limping but there wasn't any real pain. Jett limped out of that trailer. I'm not as optimistic as everyone else is. You see him put his heads in his hands on the mule? Like he knows it's fucked. I really hope I'm wrong

I couldn't even get off the damn bike for 15 minutes the bitch hurt so bad. I had surgery a couple weeks later. I was out of work for total of 14 weeks good as new.  Went back to work for 2 weeks, then literally first ride back I crashed again.  I only thought the ACL hurt. lol. Shattered hip, ruptured bladder, femur that left a big exit wound (same leg). I forgot all about how the little ACL hurt. Out of work another 5 months.

I tore my ACL back in 2002 right as I was starting a new job.  I couldn't miss work, so I pushed through the pain and worked until I got used to it.  Never got it repaired.

That's was 10 years ago. It was a long road. 15 weeks non wt bearing. Intense pain from nerve damage. The hip, femur, bladder, ribs were all good. When they did surgery they nicked the femoral vein (cardiology had to come in and repair, 2 days ICU 10 days total) and the sciatic nerve.

Because of that Sciatic i had massive pain in left foot, bitch felt like it was sitting in the fireplace for 2 months. But that all got better. Only residual is very little dorsal flexion of left foot (I now heel shift) and a constant state of burn controlled mostly with high dosage of gabapentin. But hey no complaints. I can still run, walk and do mostly everything except shit a gear and balance on my left foot.

I still ride some with my grandson but not as much as I should because of the soreness that comes afterwards. Either quit or ride more. This in-between shit sucks ass.

Headed out to go ride with son and grandson right now so life is just fine. Thanks for asking.

Webb's crash was gnarly! Somewhat similar to Forkner flipping onto the concrete from 10' in the air. Yet Webb barely missed a beat while it shattered Forkner. Webb's got a god damn Terminator exoskeleton under his skin

When I tore my ACL and meniscus I was able to walk on it. Sharp pain when it first happened but don’t remember much pain walking right after, it just felt super unstable if I put weight on it so I had to limp with most of my weight on my good leg. The way Jett hobbled out of the medical truck looked a lot like how I had to walk.

Hoping the best for him but it’ll be a very lucky break if he comes out with no damage IMO.

Was it Hymas who raced without an ACL for about a year and a half?

Several racers have ridden without for a season or for large stretches of their career but everyone’s different.

MC rode his whole career with it torn right?

He tore it in 1990 and didn't have corrective surgery until years after his career was over.

When I did mine it was a complete rupture (obliterated was the word the doctor used) and it would collapse inward the moment I put any pressure on it. Everyone and every injury is different

Not sure if this is satire, but he tore his I think the race after he wrapped up the championship.

My vote is MCL. It hurts like hell just like any ligament tear when it happens. Depending on the severity you can come back relatively quick.

Wasn't 100% sure. I thought he had to limp around a couple more races. What year was that? 13 or 14?

Maybe '14? '13 he was good to go all year and and absolute monster for mx. The best version we ever saw of RV, in my opinion

I thought 14 he lead like the last 80 laps of the season with 4 straight wins. I thought that was how he finished off his supercross career? Was that in 13 instead of 14?
